  1. Rahm Emanuel was an excellent guest. Definitely tuning in if he guest host as they talked about. I think the gals were charmed and impressed, even Nutmeg.

She lost her Aunt, if you were expecting fits and giggles  they weren't coming on a day like today. I thought perhaps she had taken something .

Didn't know. She shouldn't have shown up.

She used to be much prettier, back when she was married to Gavin Newsom.  She's an example of "bad plastic surgery".  An example of "good plastic surgery" - Jane Fonda.

She was married to Gavin Newsom? Totally don't get that pairing. Do I need to reevaluate my like for the guy?

Show was painful to watch. Jr is as bad as his dad. Also... The one day Nutmeg's bitchiness would have been appreciated she clams up. She was in dramatic victim mode today.

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell Meghan's  point was. Taking  out the part sbout Assange, she thinks "people on the left" aren't ok with the whistleblower. When Joy asked her to clarify, saying  people see the whistleblower as a hero, Meghan is back with Assange releasing  Hillary's emails, and if you have a problem with a whistleblower,  OR YOU THINK HE'S A HERO, then you should have a problem with Assange as well. But isn't that the opposite of what she really meant? People aren't against the whistleblower,  they're against the treasonous act he/she uncovered! By the president!

Meghan fucked up in making the discussion about Assange. But her fatal flaw , when it started to unravel, was when Ana was making a point and Meghan yelled out to thank an audience member who had clapped for what Meghan had just said. After that, Ana was not having any of Meghan's bullshit, and Meghan just kept screeching over her until the blowup.

Nobody on the panel, in the audience, or watching on tv,  could think Meghan was making sense.

    Interpretation...

NutMeg: Blah blah blah the left blah blah (turns into a pretzel to make it about Liberal Left) blah blah blah I'm a bitch.

We need a "disgusted" or "angry" emoticon (or whatever they're called these days).

"To the cornfield". (from vintage Twilight Zone... for you young whippersnappers) Not an emoticon, but a fave of mine.

Meghan needs to stop with the clothes that define her waist.

Forget a change of clothes. Megan needs breast reduction surgery. She's going to topple forward one day breaking her face. Which would be nice to see, so she can wait on the surgery until after that happens. Can't stand her.

Saw her on Seth. He was great, she was not. He expressed himself politely, she did not. He stayed calm, she did not. He had a brain, she did not. Yep. Really can't stand her.

But more importantly, Meghan had no point to make.

Yep. In a nutshell. I tune her out as best I can.

    Odds and ends:

-Anyone else think Megan's voice sounds like Karen on 'Will and Grace'? Acceptable on a comedy, not in real life when one's job is... talking.

-'The View' has too many commercials, too often. They just get a topic started, and then have to break. Annoying.

    -Loved Sunny and Joy today.

  8. I need to go on an Abby diet. I'm beginning to feel bloated and uncomfortable.

Love Willie Nelson. Love that he doesn't care about the "controversy" started by the clueless. In honor of Willie...

  9. Abby is like outer space. Endless emptiness.

Curious: Did large junks of Schumer's interview freeze frame and/or cut to commercial, or had a strange edit? I barely got anything he said. Not to go all conspiracy theory... but I was watching in a bright red state.

What a pissy face Abby has

Great. She and MM can compete in resting-bitch-face.

  10. Who knew I liked John Kerry THIS much? He was outstanding, and dying to talk. Made me realize how much I miss smart.

*thumps Huntsman on head*  Yep, the numbers DID speak for themself... majority of voters wanted Hillary.

Sadly, we're stuck with them both.  It would be preferable to pink slip MM, but she's not going anywhere, especially now.  At least Abby didn't make me scream at the TV today, but maybe she was just being the new kid at school and playing nice........well, at least in comparison to Megs.

She makes me scream. Pageant queen depth on all topics.

  12. Watched in real time today because I thought Joy would be moderating. Painful.

Stern-faced uptight Meghan McCain HAS to go. Her lecturing the panel about how to have a discussion annoys, then to read here about her scolding Joy for looking at her watch really takes the cake. Where does this entitled witch get off? I swear I have a vague memory of her being less bitchy prior to her Fox stint. Now she's wound so tight I expect her eyes to pop out of their sockets at any moment.

As for the alleged Franken encounter... "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."  came to mind while I listened to the victim's account. IOW, her overly worded oft-repeated description smelled off to me. As for the picture, I have a similar one w/ a group of friends during a Orleans trip. No actual touching. It was a tacky stupid joke. Bad joke, but not malicious. So, I agreed w/ the point not every encounter s/b thrown into the same pot. There are degrees. Not all crimes are the same, nor are the suitable punishments.

  13. I watch in real time on Fridays because Joy moderates. Things go much smoother. Even MM seemed less prickly (or at least making an attempt). Speaking of prickly, her friend Clay often shares the trait, plus both are opinionated. So, I get the friendship. Seems a lot of Idols suffer depression post show.

There's no debate about Roy Moore, and Louis CK. Both are pigs. Shame on GOPers for trying to excuse Moore. Joy seemed genuinely disturbed. I actually interpreted MM's "Are you okay?" as an attempt at comradery. Such familiar gestures aren't natural from her type, so it was awkward at best. Not defending the gal, I want her gone for massive other reasons.

Let me tell you who I think are golden for the show. Sara and Sunny. Not perfect, but likeable and they do their research. They handle MM w/ counter facts. Of course, I love Joy.
