Before seeing the photo, as I was reading this, I thought Tina was played by Linda Purl. She is the one I associate with "Like Normal People". Imagine my surprise when I saw it was Julie Anne Haddock from the Facts of Life. I don't remember her from "Like Normal People", perhaps because she was not constantly saying "Rajah" throughout the movie (and yes I know I am going to hell), but a quick check on IMDB confirms Miss Haddock's appearance in that classic TV movie.
You beat me to it! I never saw the movie but people said, "I love you, Rajah!" enough at that time that it's still stuck in my head. TFoL's Cindy going from tomboy to model seven later bewildered me.

I have no idea why I remember this, but the twins originally played the character most like themselves. They realized that wasn't working, and switched roles at some point.
I do remember this now that you mention it, but I think they changed before the series started, kind of like how Rue McClanahan's role in Maude was more like Rose on The Golden Girls while Betty White's role on the Mary Tyler Moore Show was more like Blanche and they were happy to switch types.

I'm finally watching this week's episode. Am I the only one who after Donna said, "Joe Who?" shouted out "Joe Mama!"

I don't know about Australian BB but American BB did this back in 2004 (BB5) and it was awesome (in my opinion).
I *loved* Double Trouble, though my biases as a fifteen-year old were really bothered by the fact that the twin who was smart in Season One ended up being a fashion designer.
I was disappointed that your list didn't mention this X-Files episode: http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--r7ePyi07--/18hkggrc6d6hajpg.jpg

For me the pizza making (freezer burn) episode, which I think was a season premiere, marked the beginning of the end of quality. Not every episode before that was great nor was every episode from then on awful, but I just remember being really disappointed in it at the time.

I was wondering how Kaitlyn and Ben Z. figured out that the word spelled out on the cards was "roses" and not the equally-appropriate-for-this-show "sores."

That final sentence just killed me. Perfect!
My partner thought Richard Quest was Bruno Tonioli.

"They decided to get really great actors for guest stars and continued through the whole series. They add so much to the show, it is surprising that they can do it and you wonder why other shows don't do the same thing."
That's because most other shows don't film in New York. #Amirite

Ugh, this show. "The Celluloid Closet" gave examples of how NOT to handle LGBT storylines. I'm surprised a tree didn't fall between Delia's legs.

No TV theme song has ever been better than the one for Angie:

I just wanted to add my two cents to say that Chris is a great guy (and member of the National Puzzlers' League, which is how I know him) so I was thrilled he won yesterday and sorry he lost today. Contestant Alex was interesting and I'm really curious to see if he's any more relaxed ... or less relaxed ... on Monday.

I had 1000-...or was it 100-year old eggs at a party once about fifteen years ago and I thought they were delicious! (Plural because I went back for seconds.) I just remember it being tangy, but I might not be remembering correctly.
As for that cat challenge, I couldn't even look at the TV. I am so allergic I would have been red-eyed and wheezing on my first step into that awful cafe. For me that is the worst challenge they've ever had on this show.

...I'm wondering if maybe Sri Lanka was a back-up location choice like Iceland was a few years ago? ...
This is news to me. What happened?

At least The 4400 had an explanation (people were sent back with special skills that they would need to save/destroy the world) until they completely forgot their own explanation. I watched all of Season One of Les Revenants and it was beautiful, but I won't be watching Season Two because I found the first season to be so unsatisfying.

Oh, good, I thought I was the only one rooting for Kaitlin. I've been rooting for her since Episode One.

I thought Kennedy was wearing a green screen and was disappointed they didn't project the weather on it.

At least I'm less likely to confuse the three M's now.

Was it just me (and my partner) or did Kathryn's mother say "Vermont" when she meant France?

I was sure Jesus meant "f of g of x" when he said "f times g times x" and it took me right out of the show. Now I know how lawyers feel when they watch "The Good Wife."

The NASA woman looks, talks, and acts so much like my co-worker that it's freaking me out a little. I'm rooting for her and fearing her at the same time.

Finally, someone gets eliminated who wasn't anywhere near my suspicious list.

Then again, I think I'm confused as to which contestant said s/he was night blind.

Good catch! That person was on my list of too "fanatik"/not in the right place to be de Mol, but I'm really bad at Mol predictions as well.

I'm watching and I'm definitely not in the demographic. I didn't see that they were in San Juan until this week. I'm going for my first time ever next month and I hope they clean the sand before then! I'm rooting for them all to be miserable except for Ellie, whom I refer to as "Southern Snooki." I wish she could come down next month and pour shampoo into my hot tub (not innuendo).

Before Rachel Dolezal, One Life To Live Brought Us Asian Blair
in One Life To Live
I must have stopped watching between Asian Blair and Caucasian Blair (I remember her as Asian and the timing works out). That's hilarious!
