How many episodes did they tape last season that never made it to air? It's obvious this was one.
Nah, this is a season 2 episode. Production code for this episode was 213 and Yearbook is 214, so this episode should have aired before Yearbook hence why Farkle is wearing his colorful turtlenecks. But stupid Disney airs the episodes out of order.

Cory has his students challenge one another's beliefs to see if anyone changes their perspective.
-
The class receives an assignment about forgiveness; Riley tries to forgive Auggie for destroying something important to her; Maya writes her father and tries to forgive him for leaving.
-
This is probably the wrong place to ask this, but any idea how many Season 2 episodes are left?
8 episodes left!

Louis wants to make Eddie's first school dance perfect; Jessica spends time with Grandmas Huang, hoping she'll invest in her business venture.

To nitpick a bit, those cuts (The ones where they froze the frame, like when Riley was just thrown) were awful. If you aren't/can't have her do stunts, then show reactions from other people or something (with the sound), but yeah it didn't work.
Yes, what the heck was that all about. It reminded me of the scene in Girl Meets Sneak Attack when Farkle had his finger in Maya's nose. You never even SEE Farkle's finger in Maya's nose. You just have to assume... Did Sabrina Carpenter refuse to let anyone's finger in her nose?
It was just so awkward and weirdly directed.

Riley, Maya, and Farkle head to Texas with Lucas, who has been entered in the bull-riding competition at the rodeo in his hometown.

So, once again, Riley acts like a complete fool and everyone at the school has to give her her way. There's a difference between keep trying and keep beating people down until they finally bend to your will.
I agree. The proper message should be "Try, try, try and never give up. If you don't succeed today, you could tomorrow with even more hard work." This is squandered in the end by "Well, Riley's the main character so we'll sacrifice our spots on the cheerleading squad to override the coach and get talentless Riley on." Riley isn't meeting the world, the world is catering to her every whim!! Ugh...

Perez Hilton's cameo appearance was pointless and unnecessary. Anyway, this was an.... okay episode.

It’s time for the annual cheerleading tryouts, and Riley is determined to finally make the squad.

Awful, awful episode. Girl Meets World of Terror 2 is hands down the worst episode of the series. No contest!
Total waste of time,

Loved it! Thought it was funny and heartwarming. I feel like it might fill the void in my heart left by Raising Hope.

Riley and Maya run into a somewhat old friend when they meet the ghost of the bay window—who just happens to be a flapper from the 1920s.

Yeah, both of the girls' hair is way too modern looking. They need big bangs! I graduated from High School in '91 and practically every girl in my school had big bangs, even with straight hair.
Erica's slicked back ponytail with no bangs at all was the worst tonight. NO ONE, wore their hair like that!

Decent season opener -- not bad, but not great either. Will Erica ever graduate high school? She's been 17 for three years!

Hilarious season premiere. Glad this show is back!

Possible T.K. guest appearance?
Danielle Harris tweeted that she was meeting with the Girl Meets World writers, so people are assuming.

Is there gonna be like cheesy Public Service Announcement at the end of the episode, that's what it looked like when Riley and the students in the hallway were all facing the camera in the promo.
I hope this isn't basically a repeat of Girl Meets Flaws, where we have a random character we never heard of, bullying one of the main characters and then we never see them again....

I thought this was a bad episode and kinda stupid. The flashbacks were incredibly lame and pointless nostalgia. I think the show really trying way too hard to pander to BMW fans.
We probably didn't need another episode about Riley freaking out over her lack of accomplishments. Riley you're only 13 go have fun and do kid stuff. Her arc just wasn't that different from the many other times she's compared herself to her parents. Ultimately, it felt like a retread of past events.
And speaking of Topanga (who is still useless imo), when are we gonna get some mother/daughter plots and special moments with Riley and Topanga. They don't act like mother and daughter and hardly interact.
I glad we a Farkle and Lucas subplot, but my problem is it felt disjointed from the main plot, wasn't really interesting, and it led to Farkle and Lucas back to classroom to beat us over the head with another lesson which ruined it for me. I'm sick out everything tying back to that damn classroom! I hate the classroom scenes.
This episode had no plot and was just boring filler.

After Maya hurts Riley's feelings, the group learns that Riley is overly sensitive because another classmate is making fun of her. Riley's friends encourage her to like herself for who she is.

When Riley comes to the realization that her parents, Cory and Topanga, are making a positive impact in the world, she questions the impact she's making to the world.

Oh my god, its it necessary for every single person who has any quirks to be on the friggen spectrum? Can't people just be weird any more? I knew plenty of kids who were had quirks or were "odd ducks" when I was in school, but I graduated with 800 kids in 1995 and there were probably like 10 kids who would be on the spectrum. Now? it would be like 100. Being a kid these days must really and truly suck. Any little quirk or oddity and the world is trying to classify them as having a diagnosable issue. Farkle marches to the beat of his own drummer, as did his father. Why wouldn't a child raised by Minkus do things slightly different? It's called upbringing, not autism.
I agree. I'm a little disappointed that they went the easy route and made "the weird kid" the one with some kind of disorder instead of either Lucas or even Zay. God forbid the "popular/cute" guy is the one who has the disorder, you know?
