Also, original Tony was hot. His replacement not so much. Nick Scotti was becoming a big deal on Y&R and then he was canned.

I recall liking Tony #1, so I looked him up on Wikipedia. Doesn't look like his career took off. Sadly, Tony #2, Jay Bontatibus (who I barely remember), died in real life from cancer at age 52.

They all seemed like babies....except the guy who was asking about Traci? Was that the baby daddy?

Yup - Tim Sullivan, her college professor.

  2. I'm thinking Stephanie will be the upset winner. In a previous episode, they ran clips of the upcoming season and one was of Padma saying "YOU are the Top Chef!" She seemed surprised and delighted. Of course, I could be reading too much into it.

Has next week’s “theme” been announced yet?  I’d be up for a “Teen Scene” week to kick off summer.  I think it would be fun.

Jill’s (Jess Walton) search for the truth leads to an epic confrontation with Katherine (Jeanne Cooper); Sharon (Sharon Case) worries about Grace’s influence on Nick (Joshua Morrow), and Michael (Christian Le Blanc) causes trouble for Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). The episode originally aired June 30, 1998.

    Wednesday, May 13
Nikki (Thomas Scott) declares war against Sharon (Case) at the Newman Ranch, and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Nick (Morrow) deal with a tragedy. The episode originally aired June 15, 2012.

    Friday, May 15
Lily (Christel Khalil) gives Hilary (Mishael Morgan) a rude awakening; Sharon (Case) struggles with Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) presence in Genoa City, and Nikki (Thomas Scott) and Paul (Davidson) are reminded of their past with Ian Ward (Ray Wise). The episode originally aired May 22, 2014.

Wait Thom Bierdz (Phillip III) was in the episodes this week? How is that possible? I thought they weren't going back beyond Marge/Katherine in 1989 or so...then a 2004 one....I thought his big return connected with Cane/Australia was much, much later (2008/9ish)

It was Ghost Phillip, back when they thought he was dead. (They also had Ghost Rex). It was A Very Special Episode, so they brought them back for cameos.

So, since Phillip was not really dead, he must have been Delirium Tremens Phillip.

  8. I'll miss Eddie. I liked when he "paid it backwards" by giving his excess cash at Whole Foods to the next chef in line. I guess maybe it was residual guilt from the "Eddie Money" episode.
