Not sure if there are any old American Idol fans on this forum, but the genie is being played by Season 8’s Anoop Desai. I didn’t know that he had gone into acting.

Is anyone else squigged out by Pam and Charlie giving Donna honey at their workplace? I think the HR department would have something to say about the appropriateness of bringing sex toys to work. Look, we got you and the boss some lube!

Yup! This was John McCook’s fourth nomination and first win in this category.
So he finally wins because he can keep a straight face during his double entendre pickle ball dialogue? That’s Emmy material!

Fun fact: The producer Casey Ksomethingzak said on Bold Live that today's episode was scheduled to be a Friday cliffhanger/surprise but that a pre-emption threw it off by a day.

I’ll be using the FF button more in the future if they’re still around.
Prepare to wear the button out because they’ll be on all season long.

I see the opening credits have had a Finn-ectomy already (More pix of Brooke added). Makes me kind of sad since I actually liked Dr. Biberty.

I’d like an investigation on why show spent $4000 on the leather jacket Thomas has been wearing.
That’s why they can’t afford to have Jack and Li, the parents of the dead man, on.

What is ToD.2.0?
Triangle of Doom 1.0 was Brooke/Ridge/Taylor while 2.0 is Hope/Liam/Steffy. Or does D stand for Drivel?
(Oops. didn’t see Runningwild’s reply)

Watching yesterday’s show: anvils are dropping with retrospectives of Finn and Steffy’s great love. I do like Biberty, and think their great romance was hampered by all the distancing in the early stages due to the Covid protocols (and by horrid writing). I think he’s improving in his acting, but he would probably be better in a comedic role.

Am I the only one who’s never heard of Duff Goldman?
Only if you don’t watch Food Network. He’s all over the place there: Ace of Cakes, Buddy vs. Duff, judges several baking competition shows (I watch way too much FN)

And no Katie?
43 minutes ago, TobinAlbers said:I'm guessing Finn wasn't there the day they shot the cast photo which is why he's in the back and not next to Steffy in the new cast photo....right?
The positioning/pairings are really odd - Steffy is front row but not Hope? Carter and Quinn together but her not behind Eric? Flo and Shauna nowhere in sight. Paris in center and not next to Zende or Carter? Thomas and Taylor could've been paired together and Bill and Wyatt paired together to have families together.
Show renewed for two more years for the show! Huzzah!
And no Katie?

Here’s a recap of season 4:

Bad news for fans of The Wig. Krista Allen said in the most recent Bold Live on YouTube that she gets to have her own hair when they start filming after the holiday break. It’s a fun interview, with lots of Wig talk. (Are we allowed to post YouTube links?)

Haven't seen this posted here (unless I missed it), but John Whaite from the 2012 season is competing in the current Strictly Come Dancing. Apparently he's part of their first male same-sex partnership. Clips are available on YouTube for US viewers.

Well, episode one was fun and enjoyable. I vaguely recognized some of the grandmothers from Food Network competitions, maybe?

And what about poor Li? Was she just left alone in sorrow in a hotel room? Finn should have insisted his mother be invited.
There was a throwaway line where they said that she had been invited, but she declined saying she wanted some time alone.

OMG! There were three different plot lines going on in one episode! How can they expect us to keep up with all these riveting stories?

The reboot of Fantasy Island on Fox just got renewed for a second season, so Zoe will probably be staying in Paris for a long time.

I am just going to start assuming that the entire cast of every Blade movie is a vampire now.
Maybe a Ryan Reynolds cameo!

I’ve only been watching B&B for a little over a year ( only started because they were first back from lockdown). From watching B&B commercials for decades during Y&R, I got the impression that Brooke and Ridge were the soap’s rootable heroic super couple, like Marlena and John on Days. But I find them both shrill, unlikeable, insufferable finger-waggers. I can’t stands ‘em!

Minor point that bugged me. Masha kept changing how she pronounced Yao’s name. Flipped several times between Yow and Yoh, in the same conversation with Delilah.

I know this is asking for logic, but shouldn’t someone be asking who the father is?

I wish they’d stop making everyone related.
Unfortunately, I think all soaps are guilty of this soap trope (stroap?)

I suppose they don't bring up a lot of the Quinn past stuff because she committed actual crimes and newer viewers might be left going 'ummm why is she not in prison?!?'
I'm one of those newer viewers. Started watching just because it was the first soap to return to new episodes. Without knowing all of their past crimes and misdeeds, I was sort of rooting for Quinn and Thomas (until reading about their histories here in the forum). As a longtime Y&R viewer watching B&B commercials, I thought Brooke was the long-suffering heroine of the soap. But she has come across as insufferable this past year.
And, just a broad observation: the cast is fantastic, but the writing is horrendous. Plot points are shoehorned in with no organic flow and certainly no logic. And the dialogue is adolescent at best. Yet still I watch . . .

B&B: What's Up Today at Forrester Creations? - Daily Chat
in The Bold And The Beautiful
And, in both plot lines, someone sent pieces of the blackmail photos to others. (Kay to John Abbott and I think Sheila to Brad and/or Lauren). I remember at the time how much of a rip-off it was when they did the same storyline twice.
