I'm surprised he didn't go more ballistic about the quality of the food, and the lack of a breakfast menu. That said, the pool menu sounded like a good compromise. I doubt people plunking down money for a boutique hotel in a nice little city will want to stay in for dinner when they can go explore local restaurants, but they would probably eat while lounging around the pool.
The Fox drama dial was turned down to a normal level relative to Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. I hope they find us some owners to root for who are not total losers at running a business. The Ramsay-Fox strategy seems to be to find people who deserve to fail, shower them with money and obvious advice, and then pretend like the businesses will succeed.
