  1. I just loved, loved, loved this episode. I hate musicals (w/ the exception of Buffy's Once More, With Feeling) and I was a touch worried about how this would go down but I suspected they could do it and I was right! What an uplifting episode! I've always been pleased with the meta episodes. I think this is now my favorite episode of Supernatural, ever. P.S. @Slovenly Muse: Sera Gamble also ran Season 7. I think that one was actually the worst. The "Smith, no relation" is a callback to an epiosde where they used that exact line. I don't remember which episode or season it was in.
  2. ANGEL is my 2nd favorite show ever! Loved "Smile Time" & the quality "edu-tainment" the demon puppet wanted. And Puppet!Angel! IIRC, Edlund didn't always do quirky stuff...
  3. When Revolution was cancelled I was sooo hopeful! I share your feelings. Yep, we can't have Ben back because of Gotham. I've been watching that show and so far I'm not feeling the Edlund... I digress.
  4. I feel like the writers are screwing with our heads about that marriage!
  5. Awfully quick! Now that I know that, I wonder what the timeline of these episodes actually is. Does anybody know offhand how much time has passed from what happened in the premiere to this episode?
  6. Oh my God, Sam chanting would have elevated the curing scenes. It would have been so much more convincing that it worked.
  7. Sort of spoiler-y words from Jensen @ EW.
  8. I agree that they just cannot go there because if they do, that is way too far for even Demon!Dean. I'm an avid Buffy fan and they went there with Spike, but he had been a monster for over a century and a half. I was okay with the way they handled it. Those writers had to push him almost beyond redemption in order for him to really earn it when he gained a soul and helped save the world. But, speaking of souls, Spike was a soulless demon when he attempted to rape Buffy. Which brings me to... What is the status of Dean's soul? Does Demon!Dean have a soul? (I remain unconvinced that he's cured of demondom.) Or as others have postulated, being a demon twisted his soul, and now that he's "cured" his soul is back to normal?
  9. I share these feelings. I want the arc to continue, not to end so... senselessly. Dean being cured simply doesn't make sense. It was too easy. I hope he wasn't cured; Demon!Dean pretending to be good would be awesome! But I do have to admit there are problems with the theory of him not being cured. He got burned by holy water before...
  10. I know the holy water didn't work, proving Dean was no longer a demon. But what if he was somehow able to control it? He was impervious to the Devil's Trap & other anti-demon stuff; Sam surprised him with the holy water last week. So maybe if he was ready, he'd be able to counteract it somehow. (Can you see how desperate I am for this episode to not end the way it did?) Also, why no telekinetic powers? It seemed like Demon!Dean was especially powerful...
  11. This episode left me so disappointed. After the cure worked I said aloud, "That can't be it." Yet this is it? This is the end of Demon!Dean? I loved Demon!Dean! There was so much potential for this storyline. Three episodes and that's it?! My hope is that the cure didn't actually work and Demon!Dean is playing with everyone because I just don't buy it. Turning him back shouldn't have been that easy. But if he is really and truly cured of "demondom" *PLEASE* spend more time on the MoC arc, show, I beg you!
  12. The whole thing was just so anticlimactic. I feel cheated.
