[S09.E21: Secrets Revealed]

Heh, Shannon Storms. Agreed that it doesn't sound that stripper-esque, at least to me. It sort of sounds like a name in one of those popular young adult book series like Sweet Valley High or something. Tamra is so one note, she really only has the shock/crass factor as humor so of course she brings up porn.

 

For whatever reason I love seeing Heather react to Vicki's snoring. She's so taken aback and offended. I think it might be the only genuine, non-scripted emotion she lets herself have when the cameras are rolling.

[S09.E20: Reunion Part 2]

Ahh, so relieved to see life after TWOP exists. Have just been creepily reading and decided to post my $0.02 from the reunion.

 

1) I definitely think Vicki's distancing from Tamra is Brooks-related, as she's said, but I wonder if now with Alexis and Gretchen gone she doesn't feel a 'need' to ally with Tamra as much.

 

2) I don't have DVR so I can't go back and check, but I think Vicki told Tamra in their heated exchange (after that 'gloves off' gesture...I literally LOL'd) that Eddie could do better than her. Which is so mean, but probably true, and she said it so casually. Gunvalson does not play, y'all.

 

3) When Marry/Shag/Kill came up, Heather saying "I'm SORRY we played the game!" with an air of feigned exasperation. I'm not sure why that irked me so much. She's just so insincere in her attempts to 'apologize' about anything. The Dubrows are such pompous blowhards and have zero self-awareness. Bellino-esque, if you ask me.

[S03.E10: Blake & Kiersten]

The most interesting part of the episode to me was that Sara Grace was so flattered by a random person and her niece that she went to the trouble of doing whatever they asked her to, in this case taking that picture with a paper that said "Kiersten." Am I just too suspicious, or would anyone else be really confused/creeped out by that? The show is based on gullible people really, but somehow I am always shocked by the level of naivete and how casually it is accepted.

What I just don't understand is since the show is reverse engineered, that would mean that KENDRA called producers to have her lies exposed on national television. She wasn't tricked or deceived into signing a waiver or unaware of the premise of the show since she called them, right? For what? I wondered the same thing during the Kidd Cole episode. Some of them like Antoinette/Albert just wanted free publicity, some wanted revenge like Antwane/Tony/Carmen, and some were just bored like that John/Kelsey ep. Kendra just willingly elected herself to public humiliation.

SO. BIZARRE.

[S03.E11: Bianca & Brogan]

Ugh, Selita. Normally I hate the Nev/Max couch time because until this season they rarely held the catfish's feet to the fire but Selita was really obnoxious. Is she promoting something? The whole guest star role was bizarre.

Anyone else wondering if this show has enough steam for a season 4? I think it ran it's course last season, but maybe the ratings are good enough to warrant another. I mean clearly most of the people on it now are famewhores but some, like the Dee Pimpin and actor Justin episodes, were hilarious.
