  1. I would've punched Jax in his freshly operated nose. It is literally the only thing he cares about in life. Oh, and getting into Tom's (either one) pants. Geez. I am all for caring about friends and being concerned if he or she is in a bad relationship, but going to the trouble of aggressively calling the girl/boyfriend out? Nah. Then again, I'm sane and have a life, so my priorities may be a little different than ole Jax.

  2. I like Claudia already solely based on the super trailer that showed her pissing Nene off. I normally despise HoWives that are only brought on to troll the established ladies but in this case, go ahead girl. Aggravate these bitches all you want, they will not hesitate to do that to you.

Porsha and her "robot read" comment, saying Cynthia only parroted what Peter told her to. And you...do what exactly, Porsha? Spew everything Nene feeds you? Lord knows you do not have the "intellectual capability" to come up with anything yourself. I always remember her new besties Phaedra, Kandi, and Nene snickering during the reunion when Kenya asked her to spell scepter. Even they think Porsha's dumb, but it's convenient to have her as a lackey so they let her sit at the cool kids table.

Apollo with his wide eyed, hopeful "Do you think she'll come visit me?" He's mentally 13.

  3. As I watched the Toms and Jax palling around like buffoons at the threading place a thought occurred to me...I can almost see this show as being kind of like a "Laguna Beach: Where are they Now?" series. Like the same cast ten years later, with their parents cutting them off several years ago and having no education or ambitions, just decided to all work as busboys and servers at the same trendy restaurant and never grow up.

  4. Kyle: Jetting off to a family vacation on a private plane

Lisa V: Drives from her Beverly Hills mansion in her Bentley to a jewelry boutique to pick out $65000 diamonds

Yolanda: Greets her wealthy genius husband in their Malibu estate

Lisa R: Meets with her agent to book gigs, talks about endorsements and jobs that she had without need of Bravo and Real Housewives notoriety

Kim and Brandi: Dress up in costumes from Party City to check on Brandi's non-boyfriend

The last 2 stick out like a pair of sore thumbs. They are in stark contrast to the other housewives who actually lead the opulent, fabulous lifestyle of Beverly Hills.

  5. Not to take a cheap shot but because she proves it basically every time she's on screen...Porsha is an idiot. If the video of her admonishing gays in a sermon exists and was making the rounds, and Cynthia was asked to comment and stated her opinion, why is this so offensive to Porsha? Cynthia didn't break the story and regardless of her comment, any backlash Porsha received is her own doing for saying those things in the first place. As far as supporting Kenya now in the reunion debacle...were Cynthia and Porsha so close that this was a monumental diss? Why does she even care? As dumb as Cynthia is for defending Peter and Nene and funding several failed businesses I don't think she's wrong to stay out of Porsha's camp. The Nene/Porsha/Phaedra alliance screams negativity to me, as much as they try to claim otherwise.

  6. Have only seen a few episodes so I really don't have too much to add except: Jim Bob's smile is terrifying. He reminds me of a cheerful serial killer. Sorry y'all, I know it's not the most insightful post but I feel like I shouldn't stare directly at it, like a solar eclipse...

  7. Apryl, I understand your frustrations with your mother, but that conversation needs to happen in a therapist's office, not on some soundstage for a reality show on vH1. Mama was clearly not budging, and probably for good reason.

Wait so this kid is named Mega Grandberry? It sounds like something off a game of Mad Libs. Or a nasty flavor of Starburst.

That pic of Berg had me rolling.

  8. I think FI Tom and Ariana seem like good pals and that's about it. Weird when Jax/Stassi and FI Tom/Kristen seemed to have more attraction, than these two and their newfound love.

I don't like Kristen, but seriously she's one of the biggest contributors to VR's whole storyline. Agreed that she's probably wrestling with some undiagnosed mental illness, and that's why I'm so uncomfortable ragging on her. I'd love for her to actually book some work, breeze away from this mess (like Laura Leigh) and watch VR totally implode. What else would there be? Stassi talking about her invisible boyfriend? Scheana whining about something? Jax getting plastic surgery? As much as these people would hate to admit it, Kristen adds a lot to the show and last season would not have been what it was without her.

  9. Oh man, I can totally see FI Tom in that Hills episode. Scheana was on the Hills as well, during a dinner scene. She's really good friends with Stacie the bartender; Stacie was a bridesmaid at her wedding.

Tom seems like a nice guy for the most part but whoa talk about sensitive. And he comes with a lot of baggage as well in the form of Kristen and his cheating. Ariana, run!

I swear this guy is in a CreditKarma commercial. I'll have to find it.

I wonder how much these kids get paid for being on Pump Rules? I mean, tiny filthy apartment with a roommate? Driving a Saturn? Not having health insurance? Could it be that they are so underpaid, or that they're actually being smart and saving their money (doubtful, but hey, it'd be a nice surprise)?

  10. I ONLY like having Kenya around because she sticks it to Nene. Ole girl falls for it every single time too. Nene's fabulous, enlightened posturing is fooling no one. If anyone dares not kiss her ass or call her out for anything, she goes right back to Season 1 Nene. I think Nene knows as good as anyone that she could never leave Housewives as she is the centerpiece on the show and it gives her national exposure. Without it, she would never land a role on anything else.

I'm glad Apollo is doing time as he is obviously guilty, but I'll kind of miss him ruining Phaedra's perfect Southern family facade.

I too wish they would bring Sheree back.

  11. So...I've only been watching this show since the day they aired Jill's wedding (super late to the party, I somehow managed to go this long without really knowing anything about this family). Jessa seems much less willing to bow down to her parents than Jill and I agree with other posters who think she may like Ben, but views marriage as a way to escape her parents/achieve independence. Doesn't seem likely. As someone new to the show, the engagement made me sad for those two. They really have not experienced life at all, nor been given any choice due to their ridiculously strict culture. Not sure why but I feel like Jill is more inclined to the domestic life and Jessa seems more unruly and outspoken and could've really benefited from venturing out on her own and meeting/dating other people. I just see wasted potential there, when everyone else is probably really happy to see her get engaged.

  12. I guess Scheana is the producer's monkey this season and trying to start drama at every turn. She's friendly with Kristen because no one else will be. Guess having your wedding paid for by Bravo has some strings attached.

Botox in your 20s? They both look good, but geez. I doubt they need it, not that anyone "needs" it.

This trainwreck is absolutely my guilty pleasure. I love Lisa V anyway, but it's pretty remarkable to me that her elegant, posh brand hasn't been sullied by being attached to this bunch of bozos.

  13. Fugazi. That's what I think about all the people sitting on that set.

Teresa was annoyed at Andy and interjected during the Dina/Caroline/Jac conversation because he finally admitted being on a reality show strains relationships (or something like that). How many reunions has Andy asked Teresa "Why were you so opposed to having your brother and Melissa join the show?" Maybe because it would strain a relationship, and her contract wouldn't let her leave? Hmm...not like her saying that would actually ever air, but.

And no Melissa this show is not AT ALL about mending families. Quite the opposite. I did like her taking Dina to task though. Dina claims she fears no one and doesn't run from confrontation but she clearly avoided Melissa's clear, direct questioning knowing that Melissa is not going to cover for her a la Caroline or blink rapidly and lick her lips like Teresa.

Kathy and her wide eyed babe in the woods act is tiring.

  14. T: I feel like you owe me an apology too-

Ray J: Well you ain't never gonna get it.

This friggin' guy. I don't like him AT ALL, but he entertains me with his petty squabbling and pouting. Hasn't he always been a giant man child though? Shouldn't these people know better? Why am I still asking this question after watching every iteration of Love and Hip Hop (I know, I know)...?

Berg really thinks he's a mack, huh.

  15. I remember watching an episode this season where Corey mentions taking on a 12 hour shift weekend job that paid significantly less so he could have more time with Ali and Aleeah. At the time I thought, "Aw, Corey is such a good dad wanting to spend even more time with his girlses." I still think he is, but now I'm guessing concern and fear for the safety of his daughters was the biggest motivation. Leah could be high and driving them around, interacting with drug dealers or other addicts, possibly OD while the girls are in her care, just a million totally terrifying scenarios.

Ooh yes the Reddit AMA where the producer spilled the beans about Leah's lack of cleaning. He said he wanted to call CPS multiple times due to their living conditions and that she would let her twins eat cheesy poofs off the filthy carpet on the floor. I wonder if she was using back then, as well.

  16. Dina has 60K bubbies?! That has to be several revisions or going in for bigger/smaller implants. Her chest overpowers her small frame. I think the only one with real boobs is Caroline.

Turbogirlnyc, Dina has said she uses Makeup For Ever's HD foundation. A good substitute is HD Studio Foundation by Nyx or Revlon PhotoReady (so sorry if this is too off topic for this board!)

  17. Wow those twins are insufferable.Melissa is growing on me this season. I like how she shuts down a lot of the stupid tantrums the new cast throws with a simple "This is annoying me now" or "I didn't leave my kids to do this" or when she just shouted  "No! We do not talk about mothers!" to Jim. She and Dina had the exact same look on their face at the blackjack table: wishing they weren't contractually obligated to hang out with the 2 squawking idiots.

Amber looks super tall but as she and Dina walked away to play slots they both looked about the same height with super high heels.

  18. I think they accidentally ran the Texas episode after the rerun of tonight's episode. Oops. And I didn't even change the channel...double oops.

I used to really like this family in season one of RHONJ. The contrast between them and everyone else made them seem so goofy and lighthearted. When it's a solo act though there really is no substance to hold them up. Besides Albie being emasculated by his overbearing Mom and possibly being teased for having depression or anxiety (didn't Lauren mention his "brain problems" to Chris's uncontrollable laughter) and Lauren constant preoccupation with her weight makes it a little hard to watch.

  19. Maybe he'll do more vigilante justice work and toss more cell phones into rivers a la Kidd Cole. I would watch that.

Seriously Nev seemed extremely jaded and bored with most of the character this last season. The only satisfying episode was that secret one that never aired with Blake and Kendra, and only because Kendra was so sneaky and I felt Blake was actually shocked that he had been duped.

  20. Interesting. I'd never wondered how Dina and Teresa met. I do remember someone saying that Dina worked at a salon as a manicurist while she and Lexi were living with Caroline (after the divorce from Lexi's father). At this point I think Teresa was still living in the home Danielle accused of having "linoleum floors" (the horror!). Maybe Teresa was a customer at that salon?

To be a buyer for Saks, Neiman's, and Macy's now, a bachelor's degree is required and a 2-3 year stint as a department manager. I can see Teresa doing well as a manager actually. I know she's a very polarizing figure but in person I've heard she is very sweet and gracious. Whether that is genuine or not is debatable, but at least she understands the fundamentals of sales: be nice to the people who are putting money in your pocket.

For the record I think she will do well when she leaves prison. It's not so long a sentence that her fanbase will forget her, the media will no doubt be interested in the aftermath and how she handles it and she can easily spin that into book/magazine deals, rebuilding the Fabulicious "empire" (love it or hate it, she really did build her own brand in a dime-a-dozen Howife ventures), and I think her Bravo contract will be up so she can re-negotiate with them for more money, or possibly turn it into a bidding war with another network.

  21. I can't wait til the RH franchise has run it's course completely and we get a REAL "Secrets Revealed" special with producer interviews and maybe some of the Housewives able to give their version of events once their contracts are completed (I think the original length of their contract is 7 or 9 years with Bravo's option to extend after the season airs). Although I'm sure Bravp took preventative measures so this exact thing will not happen. Oh well. More fun for us to speculate on the boards!

  22. Thanks for posting, crazychicken. I think everyone is right about the Dubrows being all about appearances, but my goodness. That card was nauseating. I hope it was more for the show and they had a more intimate, personal gift for each other off camera because if not, gag. A handmade scrapbook made with help from the kids would've been a cute present but I doubt Heather makes collages if she refuses to slap some paint on a wall.
