The fact that he’s going to MTS has sealed the deal on that for sure. Nevertheless, I really do like them the best out of all the couples.

I think that’s why I’m so fascinated by their relationship and I’m rooting for them to be different. I really hate the idea that the women are passed around from male authority to male authority and the husband dictates what they can wear. I hope the real scene after they got married was that Jinger said, “I am going to finally wear whatever I want!” rather than her asking him for permission and Jeremy answering go ahead just because that’s just the relationship they have. I definitely don’t look down on Jinger for her contentment because I love being a wife and mom too. I thought Derick had gone to seminary for awhile (online) and I had a feeling it was associated with the one I went to. I’m not conservative at all, and the one I went to is conservative but based on MTS standard, it’s probably considered liberal and unbiblical since it allows women to enroll. Haha! I actually caught part of his sermon this past Sunday. Maybe because I caught it in the middle, he was not making sense at all! And he just seemed to read off his notes. I won’t be so critical, though, because everyone has to start off somewhere.

It isn't that I'm against Jeremy going to seminary, I'm against him going to that one. I'm egalitarian in my view of the husband/wife relationship so Masters Seminary isn't aligned with my views (mainly MacArthur). I had high hopes for them as a couple and for Jinger to be free to explore areas outside the role of wife and mom. I know it's a premature assessment and a reaction to the news, but that was what initially ran through my mind. I haven't had a good impression of some of what comes out of MTS to be honest. I'm sure this was all discussed before so I wanted to look back at the old postings to see what others have been saying when the news broke out. Thank you so much, @Loves2Dance! :)

I've been off the boards for ages and haven't been following the family as much as I have been. However, I really do like Jeremy and Jinger as a couple so it really ticks me off that he is going to Masters Seminary! Are they really moving to LA? I don't mind looking back in the thread so if anyone can point me around the time of year they went down for a visit I could see how far back to look, I'd really appreciate it!

Everything went by so fast. I'm glad they recapped some of the re-auditioners...I really want to to root for them now. By the way, did the girl from UCLA make it at the end? They all looked alike.

I thought Gina was really cute when I first saw her, but she turned me off here. She has training the other girls don't have? What kind of training might that be? Tasha has really grown on me. I thought she was boring and had no personality. Even her gem of the week posts about herself on FB were boring. Then I saw the videos of the scavenger hunts last year in which fans could win playoff tickets. Tasha interacted with the fans really well. For me this was confirmed with the visit to the VA. Even if she had only said a few words in the scene, she sounded very personable. I know Kitty is Kitty, but this time around she seemed to be in an especially foul mood.

I liked Kelli's tender tone when Madeline asked her about coming back next year and Kelli replied, "We would like that." I don't know if I ever heard her sound that way before. In regards to the comments about Kalyssa being the future face of DCC, I saw Maggie in that role. During her rookie TC year, they seemed to show her a lot and she was well spoken. I thought she could be a replacement for Jenn K as the spokesperson. I'm surprised they hardly show her at all this year.

Ahhh, thanks! I looked again at the FB page and saw that I read it wrong. I assumed it was the rookie make overs, but it was game day make up instead.

From other posters, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't care for the guest choreographers. It's uninteresting and painful to watch. Also, I don't care much for Kitty's style of teaching, but I enjoyed her segment. I like watching the TCC work on their dancing and technique with hands on teaching. It's more productive than the alumni sitting there. This screen shot is from their FB extra make over scene. Who is she? She's so pretty. I thought she was Kelsey at first.

I noticed Milan waiting too. In the past a vet, which I assumed was the big sister, always sat with the TCC while waiting for her turn to be called in. These past seasons, they sat alone so I wondered.

I wanted to like the alumni scene, but couldn't. I prefer watching the vets work with the TCCs and giving feedback while dressed up in their practice uniforms rather than the alumnis sitting there all dolled up. I saw a deleted scene on FB of Mia talking to Brianna and I didn't see a difference from what she did and said that was different from Melissa R. Do the TCCs still pair up with a big sister? I would like to see that interaction. Cassie said she wasn't one of the most perky and smiley cheerleader? Didn't they give Ann Lux grief over that?!

What if she said Miley Cyrus' Party in the USA? I don't get Kitty sometimes. She seems to contradict herself. She didn't like the one girl's costume because it looked like an ostrich. I thought it was fine and I swear I've seen other girls wear something similar before. Jinelle's costume had the same tail in the back and I thought her costume was a bit much and reminded me of a peacock. Hmm, after saying that, maybe Kitty did a valid criticism. Still, though, I liked that one girl's over Jinelle's. Otherwise Kitty wants you to be sexy (and has praised girls in the past for their sultry performances) and yet when someone is, she wants you to be more girl-next-door? It would probably drive me crazy auditioning and trying to figure out how to please Kitty.

In general a bunch of us were turned off by that lady because of what she did to Kat. Suddenly I remember she threw Jay under the bus when talking about one of the audition candidates. I forgot who it was they were discussing during deliberations, and when her name was brought up, I think Kelli turned to her knowing she didn't like the candidate. Instead of explaining herself, she said Jay didn't either and pushed the responsibility onto him. His reaction was hilarious--he was clearly take off guard, and it was rude of her to put him on the spot like that. If she is so concerned about the girls being professional, she didn't come off professional to me by doing that. Do your own dirty work! Funny, I never paid much attention to her these past seasons, but she sure got it this season in a bad way. So @Dccfanatic I'm with you! Even upset and crying, Simone was gorgeous!

I actually thought it was really funny when Judy mentioned they would be slapping faces and then they showed the slow mo from behind. Sure enough, they would be slapping faces. I was imagining it in my head--the girls going down the aisle not breaking their composure as they whack ppl on the head with their poms.

I thought it was odd they saw their new locker room on Family night. Don't they usually see it right after the team is announced?
