So, did anybody notice that we didn’t see Lil Soapy’s face this episode?

Yes! They lingered on the other babies, but spared us Lil Soapy. Thanks editors!

Brianna couldn't be less into Javi. She couldn't even manage to tell her friend that she "liked" him, nevertheless spend eternity with him. And God knows what he sees in her.

  2. Ashley looks like she's wearing a christening dress.

Brianna looked nicer with stage makeup. And she's d-o-n-e with Danae and I'm not mad about it.

OTOH, Lexi looked worse with makeup, or paler than usual. Something was different. Kyler still looked like a peanut.

  3. Why are they portraying Helen - even in her own story -  as such an ungrateful shrew to Noah, when he served three years in jail for her for a crime that she committed? Are we supposed to forget that happened? It's a real retcon of the character, imo.

  4. Does anyone have an opinion on Saturday night's two hour Dateline about the poisoning case? In the end, the forensics seemed to point to the woman who was convicted, but she had no motive as far as I could tell. Very strange. At first I thought she could be being framed by the son, but I guess they ruled that out.

Guess he took a class called “How Not to Get Away With Murder.”

I wonder how he got the master keys. I wonder if that apartment complex rents out the “murder unit.”

I've seen too many of these shows, and I was very reluctant to turn my key over to the condo manager. It's helpful if you lose your keys, but what if the maintenance guy is a murderer??

I had met Tex before this incident. He's always been a looney tunes kind of guy. While I don't think this was a case of premeditation, I do think that he took the opportunity when he had it. She was dumb to hand him the gun, but stupidity isn't permission to murder.

    Strange case.

You met him? Do tell! I agree that it was a crime of opportunity.

I like Carole, I think her new hairstyle looks great, she has an amazing body in a swimsuit, she dresses how trendy New Yorker’s dress, she’s not a drunk, she gets along with all the girls, she had an amazing career, she was bff’s with Carolyn Bissette Kennedy, and she has lots of very close friends.  Other than a few snarky comments here and there, she is kind to the other ladies.  I think she is a beautiful woman who lives life on her own terms, dresses as she wants to, never gets sloppy drunk, and is very intelligent.  Yes, she has an overbite, we could go off on every housewife about their not perfect faces and bodies....it’s life.  None of us are perfect.  IMO, to have been, and hopefully still is, a great friend to momma Heather tells me all I need to know about her character.  She’s a true friend.  While Beth, away on vacation, was rapid fire texting Carole over the summer about their misunderstanding, Carole was caring for a close friend who lost her husband.  I find Carole to be the most loyal to her friends.  I’d gladly have her as a close friend.  She’s lived a fascinating life, personally and professionally, and is a ride or die friend.  Even the puppet master Bethenny cannot understand that she broke really important promises to Carole, and Carole will probably never trust her again.

All of this! I like Carole a lot and despise Bethenny.

I like Carole!  When she first came to the show and LuAnn found she was related to the Radziwill family ( and titled!) LuAnn just became very snobbish, playing the “ Who Do We Both Know in European Society Circles” game and kissing up the the “princess”.  Carole was having none of her pretentious behavior and appeared to be immediately turned off by Lou. I have liked her since that first episode.

That makes two of us! And only two of us, lol.

Yes! I totally thought the sister would win that fight had it been allowed to come to fruition. Ok, dumb question: is this group in a gang? I mean surely they didn’t all decide to coordinate in red? Ashely’s red ball gown thing. Then I noticed a Bar and a lot of the other party guests wore red accessories. If they aren’t in a gang then she really did a bang up job coordinating all their matching outfits. Lol.

I wondered about possible gang affiliation too.

The graphics say Cortland, which is a small town in DeKalb County that indeed is predominantly white (95% per the most recent census). The town's really small, but pretty close to the city of DeKalb, where she went to HS, but DeKalb's very white, too, so - this isn't some African-American prairie outpost, or anything, it's apparently just Kayla's own little social circle where she's the only white girl.

    African American prairie outpost ?

  10. Jade's boyfriend let slip that he's "not hanging out with the same people" Jade is worried about and that she is worked up because "her parents were always into that stuff." So I guess it IS drugs with him after all. That's disappointing.

  11. I had seen this murder on another show. Another sad aspect of it is that she had a "burglar bar" device running from her doorknob to the floor. They're guaranteed, but they clearly don't work. You can see it in the video he takes through her window. Unless there was evidence he went through the window instead of the door?

  12. Man, Leah way overshared about Gracie's therapy sessions. There is a reasonable expectation of privacy during therapy for adults - this was a defenseless kid who had her privacy violated.
