Nikki just posted a Part 2 to her Utopia blog. http://www.drnikkinoce.com/blog/utopiaexperience2 It's basically a breakdown of how great each person in Utopia was, but she does try to take some time to explain her relationship with Cal because she feels he's been misunderstood by the viewers.

I'm sure it's just a stunt by Aaron to try and save face.

Well now what will I do with all my hours of boredom throughout the day? Can't say I didn't see it coming, but it was set up for failure (as many have noted). Seems like everyone saw it coming except for Kroll. Was kind of at least interested in seeing how all of the drastic changes to format and cast were going to play out, but I guess the world will never know. I've probably invested far too much of my time and sanity to this debacle maybe it's for the best. Anyways, thank you all for your amazing recaps, read-worthy snarky commentary, and letting me vent my frustrations. It was fun while it lasted!

I think part of the new changes is that production is taking control of who gets visits and how frequently instead of the Topes. I saw something saying that when Amanda's sisters came a couple of weeks ago.

I couldn't agree more. Not to mention if it was up to America to pick his reward he would have gotten the saw. I never saw anyone say he should get the bed or the seafood dinner.

It just kills me that they were so quick to get that video taken down, when by "leaked" all that happened was someone forgot to shut off Cal's mike while he was in the chicken coop/production area. It aired over the live feeds yet they haven't taken any other live feed videos down from YouTube. They want to keep trying to portray this act of little to no production interference and I just think this is ridiculous since it makes them look worse to take it down. We all know it's out there. They also got it down within 26 minutes of the article hitting Utopia madness which tells me they pay attention to what those of us on forums are saying about the show.

Oh he tried. He attempted to hit on Nikki really early on and was (politely) shot down. Then there was Katie. He not so subtly tried his hardest to get some even knowing she was only going to be there for 3 days or so. He was flat out telling the others that he only had 3 days to solidify something with her and he admitted to being able to look past her obnoxiousness to just get laid. Not saying I don't like Josh, just that he's not innocent in all the sexual exploits.

My hopes for this show when I first saw previews was that it would be more like "The Colony" but without the marauders aspect and when that person got fake kidnapped in the abandoned hospital. It was interesting watching that show and to see how they tackled problems like electricity, fuel, food, etc. They were organized and efficient for the most part but added enough differing personalities that there was some conflict. Not sure how much of that show was scripted or manipulated but I enjoyed it.

I completely agree ProfCrash. It makes the whole deer hunting scene with Red seem even more ridiculous and staged. Hence no one has even mentioned hunting even the "huntress" Hex. It's like production doesn't even know what kind of show they want this to be anymore. That's one of the hardest parts about watching the edited show. They're still trying to create this idea of "pioneers" living off the land but have lost all control of this cast (amazon wish lists, frozen pizzas, online blogs, ebay auctions, etc) because they just continue to give them access to everything. I remember when they started letting the kids on Real World have Internet access and what do they do; sit in front of the damn computer all day. The least entertaining thing I can think of is watching someone on TV watch TV...

Amanda does laundry with soap and a plunger. She also charges the others $2 to do their laundry as a way of making money.

I also cast my vote for Aaron, reading a lot of the comments on another live feed site and voters seem to be pushing really hard to vote Bella out. I don't agree with that logic, not to mention Cal already offered to pay her the stipend money if she quits on her own. I think it's more important to weed out some of the truly awful individuals like Aaron, Mike, and Kristen.

Unfortunately, I think part of their contract is that they formed an LLC so technically speaking any works Bella creates while being a part of Utopia they all have a right to. At least that's my understanding of what little I've heard discussed of their contracts that isn't muted on the feeds.

This was precisely my point. She had viewers feeling bad for her and was really in the perfect situation to sit back and continue to get what she wants and just can't let it go. By fragile, I'm referring to her mind. She is not on the same wave length as the rest of us and she should not be in this environment. I just know I wouldn't have the patience to deal with her and how manipulative she is being right now.

I don't agree with the "Cool Kids Club" bullying by any means. But having said that, I could not put up living with Bella. Josh has been trying on numerous occasions over the past couple of days to warn Bella to lay low with her food complaints and arguing so that the group can focus on Aaron and voting him out. But she just cannot keep her mouth shut. Matter of fact, Josh and Ernesto called it a couple of days ago when they said to her if you get voted out it will be because of your mouth. She just can't take little wins when she gets them from the group. Breaking away from the communal cooking has been such a sore topic with this group she should have been happy with the compromise of $50-75. Which also I have a hard time following what the initial allowed amount was versus what Bella wants because every time she brings it up she keeps slightly increasing the weekly dollar amount. Also $120 per week for 1 person to eat is absolutely ridiculous! Even if it is all organic. You should be able to get by with a few pantry staples that would make the initial purchase fairly high but your continued costs shouldn't be as high each week as you're only replacing perishable items. This would frustrate me beyond belief and could quite honestly push me to the edge that Rob and Hex are at. I don't think I would have the patience for Bella and more power to people like Josh and Cal who honestly try with her because as much advice as they give her she turns around and does the exact opposite and then can't seem to understand why everyone is so mean to her. I don't agree with some of the things these people say they will do to her but I'm also a firm believer that a grown adult cannot be bullied. She's choosing to be abrasive with the group and then claims she is being victimized. There is a reason Bella lives alone with her cats and hasn't had a relationship in 6 years, she is in a very fragile state of mind and being in Utopia is only making it worse. If the producers leave it in the hands of the Utopians this month, I believe she will be voted out unanimously.

He claims he's been arrested 4 times, this is only 1 of them. As someone who works in law enforcement a lot of the story doesn't add up either. No judge drops charges because someone stole your motorcycle, that doesn't negate the crime committed. And as a veteran I'm appalled that an Army officer would conduct himself in such a manner and almost brag about being arrested.

Rob has been making a lot of comments about leaving ever since the wedding. He even mentioned earlier today that he had something to tell the group, but it would have to wait until tomorrow. I definitely got the vibe he was quitting.

I know this is what he proclaimed as part of his Utopia bio but seriously I have an easier time calling Bella a doomsday pepper or Bri a veterinary assistant...
