    What annoys me about most cancer stories is how they thank God for beating cancer.... it is like they ignored the doctors who actually treated them.

     

    If they are going to give God credit for being cancer free.... why did they bother going to the doctor??

    I didnt hear her say "Someone is trying to do my job" like it says in the headlines.... what she did say was people just cant let me be me and do my job.... everyone wants to do my job.... no I dont do meltdowns.

    It is really too bad that so many people embellish on what is said because what is actually true is not really news worthy

    Thanks Rogerfromohio, however, I remember her implying that Non-whites were allowed to have dreadlocks in their hair and not her....

    Just another case for not looking at The View for FACTUAL information.

     

    Maybe Ill look up this story just for fun

    The mother/daughter team from Utah who were complaining about facing racism from other whites were weird..I loved Whoopie's expressions, she was as dumbfounded as I was watching them not being able to articulate their grievances properly about the school...I think they meant to say that people were treating them differently for appropriating other aspects of other cultures that they like into their own..There is nothing wrong with that...They just seemed to be surrounded by ignorant assholes in a small town, who may not understand why a white girl would want to lock her hair.  If she was here in New York , no one would care....I did not really understand their reasons for being on the show. The girl is allowed to keep her hair, attend school and practice her religion. So, what is the problem? "Racial profiling" of whites by other whites...I need someone on here to explain it slowly to me like I am Bitsy to understand....lol

     

    I miss Joy, she elevates the show with her presence, even if her jokes are stale...She radiates happiness and contentment.. Unlike Whoopie, who seems to be a sourpuss and miserable...

    This is another story we should probably research since the Show did not....... see what all the facts are.

    This is what it sounded like to me.

    The school didnt like her look and they changed the rules. Then they threatened her if she did not comply with the new rules.  Once the mother started legal proceedings the school changed their public stance... but they did not change the rules back. Which means their promise that she will not be in trouble means nothing if the rules arent changed.

    They might have gone to a National TV show with this issue too soon... but I can see why they are making an issue with it.

    A girl after my own heart..... I have often thought I was born too late.... pretty sure Id have been a hippie

    Ya have to wonder about people who can not learn from the past. Lindsay Graham was all for the war in Iraq.... and after almost 10 years.... nothing improved.. but in his mind.... we need to do more of that.

     

    Pretty gross actually.... and this war mongering clown wants access to nuclear weapons

    Lindsay Graham amuses me when he starts talking about debt.... he was in Congress voting for all the spending that has caused that debt..... he voted for both wars without being paid for.... he voted for the tax cuts for the wealthy.... which caused even more debt.

     

    But he wants us to believe that he is concerned about the debt..... I noticed he didnt mention how President Obama's policies have reduced the deficit by almost 3/4

    Why do they keep talking about a man's hair being greasy when it is not in a "man bun"??  I wear a ponytail almost all the time... but when it is not in a ponytail it is not greasy..... Michelle's hair is down now... should we assume it is greasy, or is that only for men??

    Whoopi... They found water on Mars.... can ya drink it??  Raven said it is salty. Whoopi but what kind of salt?? We know what salt is on Earth but what is salt like on Mars??

    For your understanding Whoopi... Salt is a chemical compound.... it is the same chemical compound no matter where it is found in the universe.

    My opinion of the "N" word is this...... it is an ignorant word used by ignorant people..... The color of the skin of the person using the word is irrelevant.

     

    The argument that black people use it to "take it back" or to take the hate out of the word.... if this were true... then they would have no problem with a non black person using the word..... but they do not like others using the word because it is a word of ignorance.

    They just went to commercial and will be back with an OJ Simpson video.... but the Pope just arrived at Ground Zero...... so we get to watch the Pope pray silently.

    I hardly ever do this, but I decided to tweet Nancy Lee Grahn saying that somehow I missed that she was born Black in the 60's South.  Get a clue.

    Honestly I dont think Michelle is funny..... I think she was hired because she has a similar act as Joy... minus the humor...... Once Joy signed on they were already stuck with Michelle.

    I really like Paula.... but from what I have seen so far she really isnt all that good at interviews.... kinda ironic considering she is a journalist.

     

    Raven annoys me the most though.... She acts like a kid when she is not any longer.... It seems rather foolish.

     

    Whoopi does seem better.... it has to have something to do with Joy.... which is very appreciated.

    For a style "expert", Stacey was doing her best Morticia impersonation today.  Her hair is too long and too dark for her to wear all black as she was.  I also think she's trying way too hard to fit in on the panel and needs to dial herself back about 20 notches.  But why was Raven giving SL the stink-eye whenever SL spoke?

    Maybe Stacey London was not impressed with Raven's "style" and told her
