  1. Jamal's "Tim can't be your best friend" stance shows his immaturity. Tim's been in her life for what - at least 17 years? And he co-parented Chloe from pretty much day one.

(apparently I really will watch anything 90-Day related now.)

Me too. It's sad. Although I couldn't stomach the cougar moms show. And I'm not interested in Love In Translation.

BTW, I don't want to see anymore Trump, ever. It was never funny and it sure isn't funny now or in the future.

It occurred to me last night that they're portraying him much too benignly. If they're going to show him, they need to really highlight how dangerous he's become and how evil he is.

At first, I was against that whole bit because it's hard to laugh at what happened, but Punkie has such a great energy and warmth, maybe the most of anyone in the cast right now.

I agree! She's like sunshine. I like Molly a lot, too.

    Andrei said to Shekinah:

"If you're saying I'm toxic, I wanna see why I'm toxic about."

I've consulted my handy-dandy Andrei to English translation app, and this roughly translates to:

"I want to know what the comments Sarper made — and that you agreed with — were based upon. I want examples of things I may have said or done that led you to believe I and/or my marriage are toxic."

This. I felt like he was genuinely wondering, not attacking. His voice is the way it is, but I didn't feel he was hostile until she was consistently hostile.

Sekinah is very defensive from the get-go. Maybe that's from growing up in a cult. (I'd forgotten that.)

I wonder if they deliberately choose Andreii because he's a bigger dick than any of the other males on this season?  Ironically, he's the only one of the four alumni who's actually in a functioning marriage.

Shekinah does seem like a stepford wife, but she still has a lot of composure and self-respect.  I admired the way she stood up to Andreii.  Kimberly, conversely, seems to have the emotional maturity of a young teen.

I actually like Andrei. The problems between he and Libby mostly came from his family. And I do agree that his voice is strong and it can be mistaken as aggressive. Also, for some people on the show, English is a second language. and they may not have the nuance in speaking that born-here Americans have.

In fairness, Kimberly is barely out of her teens. And Jenny was unnecessarily aggressive with her, which surprised me as I don't think of Jenny as aggressive.

I would rather see Sarper and Andrei end up as friends than fight.

  5. Gotta say, I like Danielle after this season and I feel sad for her. There is still the matter of her going back on bringing Yohan to the US but I'm letting it go for this season.

It's nice having a tell-all without Ed or anyone else being an attention-hogging brat.

She did host and was good...but she doesn't work (for me) as a singer

Yea, I like it better when she sings her own songs that her brother writes for her. I didn't think her cover of Merry Little Christmas was anything special. (Also, I hate that singers always do the rewritten version and not the original.) As a singer, I don't think she's in the league of Linda Ronstadt.

Was that Mikey's IRL son in the cold open? They had the same chin.

Interesting snark on Wikipedia in the opening monologue.

    Poppy Tinselbottom. Poofy Sillybottom. #northpolestrong

Pongo the dog is an unexpected supervillan. And he's perfectly smooth!

What's the deal with age 17 and ABBA? Is it an age of consent thing? If so, that's creepy. Sorry not sorry, Stevie Nicks.

    Tampon Farm. OMG, no.

Still haven't seen the Barbie movie so I didn't know that's what Billie Eillish's first song was from until I realized her name was styled in the pink Barbie font. The movie got a lot of free PR in this episode, between the host, the musical guest, and the Barbie director. Just in time for holiday shopping!

    WU:
Rich Auntie Veronda should've been carrying a Telfar bag but maybe SNL didn't want to do that particular product placement.
There's a nationwide shortage on skanks.
Colin trying to dap the renowned civil rights activist. I recoiled so hard. (According to reddit Colin didn't know she was an actress, which makes his fake sincerity even worse to me in retrospect.)

Boogie Woogie Santa > CRISPR cure. Good to know. That tortilla blanket looked kind of dirty and used.

The Wizard of Oz was mid. Again, I think Chloe has a great voice but she wasn't channeling Judy Garland any better than she did Mama Cass previously.

Loved the cat sketch. Billie Eilish was perfect as a nerdy cat lady. Wait, that wasn't a cat.

I'm meh on Kate McKinnon, but I thought Billie E. was fantastic. She can keep coming back. Is there Five Timers award for musical guests?

I think she hosted once. It was a fun episode when she did.

Whiskers R We had its moments. I love all the cat puns. I wondered about the cats and if they were stressed. Did Kate and Billie pick up some of the same cats? Also, I don't know anything about guinea pigs, but I didn't like hearing it squeal.

I felt bad for the guinea pig.

  8. I found it pretty meh until the cat sketch, which I liked. (But the self-effacing mom sketch was mostly funny-ish.) Even WU was surprisingly meh -- even the joke swap except for the widows bit. The joke swap has been much edgier and hilarious in prior years.

I think the "Meet Me in St. Louis" sketch would have worked better with Chloe and Kate swapping roles. Kate just didn't seem to bring it in this one.

I am always pleasantly surprised at how powerful a singing voice Chloe has. I wish she and Billie E had duetted.

  9. I missed the first 20 minutes but I thought this episode was okay, although not great. It had a fun energy throughout, though.

I liked the Bowen and Adam trying to have a baby sketch, and the pranking the elderly sketch. I thought the latter had a very unique premise.

I just am not a fan of Olivia Roderigo's lyrics, although I did like the "selling me for parts" line.

When you think about it, two families and their "friends" have all made bank because Chantal filled out  the 90 Day fiance forms instead of the fake student visa for Pedro.

Wouldn't it be annoying if we learned they're all friendly behind the scenes, while concocting storylines for another paycheque?

This season definitely seems 100% fake and scripted by the producers.

As for his lack of game----well, there is no end to the desperate crazy women who will try to glom onto a reality "star" just if for nothing else but bragging rights.

Ed and Liz of 90 Day? Although the only thing that makes Liz seem crazy to me is her inexplicable  love for Ed.

  11. I thought the Question Quest sketch was really fun. But it went downhill from there for me, although WU was good. Not great, but good. The cigarette bit was funny. The pottery sketch was a snooze. I actually missed the musical guest both times. Wish I hadn't, sounds like he was good.

The song was meh, too predictable, didn't build. I really like Chloe T's singing.

Checking online re their net worth, if it's a fair estimate, Theresa's is 500,00 to 1,000,000 and Gerry's is 1,500,000 so financially they are OK but it's nice they are both reasonably comfortable and better together!!!

I wouldn't trust those figures. I just looked myself up and it says I have $100 million dollars. I WISH.

Yeah she's more administrative and reviews the portfolio of a mutual fund,  not actually a broker at Goldman Sachs lol.

Ah. They made it sound like she's the Good Will Hunting of Wall Street.
