I really liked the Teeny Tiny Pin sketch and the recording studio was fun, even though I knew where it was going after the first beat. And WU, of course. And thank you, WU, for going after Kristi Noem.
I thought Dua Lipa was good in everything, but her songs didn't do anything for me. Maybe she has other, better, songs.
The rest of the sketches were unmemorable but the show energy was good.

And other than Kwan and Simone cooking and bonding (did think Kwan’s insistence that Simone was lying at the beginning was odd) I zoned out a little. And what’s with Richard? Really hope they aren’t about to do another retirement rehash because not it’s boring & after 20 years of them teasing his exit, I’m not buying it until the actor officially announces his exit.
Kwan and Symone --thank you! So what was the whole thing at the end with Blue (? Derek's nephew?) and Kwan?

That was mostly a boring filler episode. I wonder what is going on medically with the Chief this time?
TIA's?
They seem to be doing a Mitch McConnell thing.

I didn't get the significance of the final scene. Was Blue moving into Syd's room?
I may have the names wrong. My Grey's-names memory bank is running out of room.

I love it when actors get bumped up to having a bigger part (Mr. Morton). I can imagine how happy they are!

Interesting, in the linked article about the actress who played Lucille; she said she left to explore new opportunities. But, according to IMDb, she’s not working on anything since CTM. Unless it’s outside show business.
She could be doing theater. IMDb doesn't list that.

Compared to MILF Manor, it's Chekhov.

GREAT episode, even if it was predictable (Janine returning to Abbott, Questlove showing up).
Loved "The Bear" spoof opening.

We may be looking at this from a 2024 lens were we have all probably had swimming and water safety education.(Although Fred the safety guy should have been on it, I agree) But even these days children drown every year at pool parties and beaches because people assume because lots of adults and lifeguards are around that the kids are safe. As a lifeguard - in-previous -life , I go nuts at pools and beaches at how inattentive some people are with their children. Drowning can and does happen so quickly.
Also, doesn't drowning often happen very quietly? No dramatic thrashing and yelling, as there was with Mae.

Turning him into an off-screen character could work really well.
He could be off playing Freddy in a revival of My Fair Lady and singing "On the Street Where You Live."

Just Ryan standing onstage would be enough for me.

Half the time it seems like Meredith doesn't even like Nick.
I get that feeling, too.

It occurred to me that Janine would only be Alex's teacher for one year.
I have a hunch they'll figure out a way for her to combine jobs.

I think Jamal's immaturity really showed by his cozying up with Luisa. His recent ex is right there -- he should just get Luisa's number and call her after the show.
ON THE OTHER HAND, it just reeks of set-up. Veronica just happens to head for the bathroom at the same time J & L are talking about their supposed hookup -- which also sounded scripted.

Solid episode. I was praying along with the nuns for Fred's recovery. I'm sure he will do just fine as Madame Mayor's consort.
Getting kind of tired of Matthew Hugh Granting all the time.
I often think that he probably played Freddy in a production of My Fair Lady sometime. I can see him singing "On the Street Where You Live."

I thought "Pilates" was very funny. And I liked the bad news sketch.
Aside from that, I though it was good energy that carried the show.
I have a new template for next season: Pedro Pascale, Ryan Gosling, and dogs. That's all.

Geez, Nicole, maybe Mahmoud was happy to see someone from his culture and to know he wasn't alone there and there might be more. What a bitch.

It low-key bothers me that Liz is subjecting her daughter to being anywhere near Ed.
He's such a miserable person and being around him constantly is going to change that sweet child.

Nothing particularly memorable about this episode, but the energy was good. Marcello's insanely fast movements during the Immigrant Father sketch were really funny.
I liked Sara as Flaco's widow.
I really just mentally tune out during the trump cold opens. Even though JAJ is really good, it just disturbs me that he's portrayed as quirky and benign. That ain't him.

Can TV finally declare a moratorium on the meet-cute-but-pissed in a parking lot trope?

I know the cool thing to do here is to bash Tim and Veronica (or it was on another season they were on), but I don't see how anybody can stand Jamal.
I like Jamal but someone please tell Luisa she's a very minor player here. Her 15 minutes are over (I hope).

I hope the Tell-All proposal isn't John. I don't like the way his girlfriend pressures him.
That said, I can't imagine who else it would be.
I do feel empathy for Natalie. I do think she's having what I call "a Javert moment" -- when someone's internal construct of the world that has helped them cope is crashing down.
It's hard to shake our learned coping methods. I'd think it stems from her dad abandoning the family. She probably had to be her mom's mini-caretaker at too young an age.
Debbie Cagematch? Why the h--l is the original Debbie on the tell-all?

I was skeptical about yet another season, but it was nice to see them. I enjoy the day-to-day stuff much more than the trips and parties. I zone out during those.
