My guess is Juliana is trying to soften Dinah by making her appear more feminine or something but it just comes off like she's make sultry flirty eyes either at inappropriate men or inanimate objects like broken glass.
I don't think she's trying to be feminine. I think she's trying to portray a confident, self-assured woman and well, this (sultry and flirty) is what we get instead.

Is it true that Felicity's been dead for 8 years in the flash forwards? Has anyone around here heard something like that?

I think by the end of the season, it will have been revealed that the whole main cast is alive in the future, which is stupid in and of itself. This is an action show about vigilantism. Why am I supposed to give a damn when characters are put in dangerous situations if I already know that they're still alive 20 years from now? It robs the present time story of any and all suspense.

I have a feeling the ones hoping for BS to replace Dinah as BC are hyped. I have a hard time believing they'd actually do that aka have an official fourth iteration (fifth if you count Madison) and set Dinah aside as BC but I will be rather surprised if they don't "redeem" BS by the end of the season. I still expect when they do for them to stick her on a bus and send her home but I'm expecting a lot of happy BS fans with inflated hopes in the meantime.
I don't see it. They could have gotten rid of her eons ago and didn't. Why would next time be any different - especially with a now redeemed LL/BS and the BC title most likely vacant?

It looks like they were still filming prison scenes, but maybe this will be the episode where Oliver finally gets out.

Irregardless of his interviews, it was always obvious that he was going to resign. Arrow is the one thing that keeps him relevant and he knows it. He's going to cling to this show like a castaway to a lifeboat.

Yeah, I'm wondering how Steve-O is going to take it when nobody cares two hoots about him once Arrow comes to an end. That's going to be a huge blow to his massive, massive ego.

I generally couldn't care less about the private lives of these people, but when did SA and JH become so chummy together? They barely interacted her first one and a half years on the show, but now they're almost inseparable. At the same time, he and Emily don't appear to be hanging out with each other anymore and if I remember correctly, he also didn't promote her play. Interesting ...

Er, the whole revolving door of Black Canaries? By having Sara, Laurel, Dinah and now Earth-2 Laurel compete for the same role, he has created a toxic environment amongst the fanbase.

I normally don't like to judge a person's intellect based on press interviews and social media because these things can paint a pretty distorted picture, but it's getting more and more apparent that JH isn't particularly bright. I mean, calling Marc Guggenheim a feminist? Really? Marc Guggenheim may try to paint himself in liberal colours on his social media, but what he really thinks of women comes through in his shitty writing. If Guggie really was a feminist, he wouldn't constantly pit women against each other. He wouldn't put an embargo on proper female-on-female interaction amongst the show's main characters. He wouldn't hire thrice as many male actors as female ones and he wouldn't repeatedly fridge or maime the few female characters he does have for man pain. Seriously, do these look like the actions of a feminist to you? Yeah, me neither.

Today's news was truly a bombshell. I never expected Emily to leave so close to the end of the series. With Arrow's penchant for replacing female characters, could Kacey Rohl 's Alena be a potential series regular for season 8?
