  1. Something is way off with Tasha. Yes, she lost weight, but that's probably because she's finally restricting calories. It really creeps me out the way she just stares blankly and repeats whatever is said to her. I'm sure she'll lose weight with her new trainer, but she will not maintain it. She needs a lifestyle change like Dawn or Abel's plan, not a super-intense, eat at these exact times and take a billion supplements plan.

  2. While I think the Clean Mama trainer is a nut, I'm quite certain her contestant was cheating and not following the plan. If three weeks in she was planning on ordering fried green tomatoes and two salmon croquettes to start at lunch, clearly she understands nothing about dieting. At her starting weight, she needed to be doing next to nothing to lose 1 pound. I believe she truly wants to lose the weight, but doesn't want to do the work (or doesn't understand how to do the work). I didn't find her gracious when she switched trainers- I found her eerily calm and robotic. Still, hoping she does better with her new diet. Only the clean diet and superfoods swap contestants seem to have a healthy additude about this being a long term process.

  3. I loved it. Loved the use of music (even the karaoke which I thought would be dreadful, but got me). Loved all of the conversations we didn't hear, and the lapse at the end so we don't actually see what happened in Jarden, just the aftermath.

  4. She was amazing. It was nice to see a woman with a higher psr than the man for a change, but would have been nice to see how she could have thrived if she hadn't been paired with such whiny dead weight. I've seen every episode of this show, and nothing has freaked me out more than those killer bees. Yikes!

  5. Thoughts on the reunion:

Eva really, really likes herself. Thanks for teaching all of us how to walk. Glad she at least apologized, though.

Alana- ugh, what a smug and hateful shrew. So she hugged Shane, but no apology, just an 'I didn't realize you felt that way'.

Vegetarian Dani- nope. Smug glances at Alana, and no apologies for her awful behavior towards Shane and horrible words about Dani.

Dani- you deserve so much better than these people!

Luke- wish you had apologized more, but can't hate him.

Chris- blech. Lazy, big-mouthed, misogynist. That is all.

Laura- what a disappointment after being so awesome on her original show.

Shane- oh Shane, I kind of want to hug you, too.

Honora- I'd rather not waste words on her.

Hakim- I wish you had been around longer. What a kind and centered man!

Jeff and EJ- you have nothing to apologize for.

  6. When Jake's dress came out, I was wondering if he lost most of his money so he was only able to buy a very small amount of fabric. That was the only reasonable explanation for that ridiculously short sequin schmatta.

  7. I've always observed how people act when that are drinking compared to when they are sober to judge their true nature. Apparently, starvation is an even better way to see ones true nature. I hope most of these people are truly embarrassed by themselves upon viewing the show.

  8. While I know we don't see everything that happens, it is beyond infuriating to hear the woman whose survival strategy is to lay very still and hope to reach 40 days before starving to death call someone else lazy. Dani always seemed pensive, calm, resourceful, and above the drama. I wish she would have just separated from the group and spent the last few days alone surviving (thriving) as the badass she is, but nothing but respect for her for deciding to leave those harpies.

  9. Alana and Danielle are the worst kind of awful. Sitting there all smug in the shelter that Shane built them, living off of the resources he brought them, and saying that he needs to apologize after he came to them to apologize. They make all women look bad. Funny how Alana is finally able to get up and fish after Shane leaves, but for no other reason than to spite him? She is plain awful.

  10. Do they live in her apartment?  I thought they all had to relocate to neutral ground.   Where in NYC is not subway accessible?  She said she lived on the upper east side.

They never showed them agreeing on a new apartment, did they? I believe they are either in her apartment, or within her neighborhood. The 2nd avenue subway line is currently under construction, so I'm guessing she lives somewhere between 2nd ave and York avenue (I'm giving this way too much thought). That part of Manhattan is not convenient to the subway. You can take a bus to the subway, but to get to Penn Station or Port Authority, it's a trek.

  11. Davina said she wouldn't move out of Manhattan, but the fact that she won't move to a different part of Manhattan is a big deal. She mentioned that her apartment would be worth a lot more money once the subway is built. Where she lives now is extremely inconvenient to NJ. Not that Shawn is any prize, but she's being a pill about there whole relocation thing.
