    The colour of his eyes returned. But still blind. I'd quite like to see him blind for the rest of the season and it's his blindness that forces him to regenerate. 

    S10.E01: The Pilot

    I take comfort that if CAF does come back for a visit,  there would be no mucking around or retconning of her character. There is no way in hell she would agree to come back if there was even a hint of altering anything about Susan. She loved Bill too much to let that happen.  She nearly refused to be in The Five Doctors because JNT wanted her to say Doctor instead of grandfather. She won out. This would be the same. 

     

    Back on topic, great episode. And I've struggled with a lot of SM stuff as of late.  But this was a return to form.

    S01.E05: Brave-ish Heart

    Jesus this show is shit isn't it?

    Poorly written, dreadful acting especially from that half a heart girl and her father, and to top it all off it all seems very angst driven. Same problems as Moffett era WHO.

    Its such a chore to sit through. At this stage only made bearable by the gay couple and Miss Quill.

    Past Seasons: Classic Who

    I just watched Time- Flight for the first time in about 5 years. Some aspects of the story worked, others did not. The budget was clearly inadequate to do the story justice. I quite liked the gag of the TARDIS on her side, with the Doctor climbing down the console room to the controls to flick the switch to alter the orientation of the floor. Having the pilots trying to sabotage and then attempt to fly the TARDIS was amusing too. 

    In all, in my opinion, not as bad as many say.

    S00.E148: The Husbands Of River Song

    That would be interesting. Back in the RTD era I thought Jemima Rooper would have made a good companion, but as she's no longer in her 20s that's never going to happen now

    I too was thinking the other day that she would make a fantastic companion.

    S09.E11: Heaven Sent

    I think this will go down as one of the greatest episodes of the revived Series. I was a little confused where they were headed but once they got there in the last 10min it was fantastic.

    Please Like Me - General Discussion

    I just spent the day rewatching it all back to back. God I spent most of season two missing Geofrey. He was too good for Josh. That relationship wasn't balanced at all and Josh was pretty much a jerk the entire time. Geoffrey is pretty much the ideal boyfriend. I also missed Claire because she is great fun. Glad they managed to bring her back for a bit.

    Roll on Season 3.

    S08.E11: Dark Water

    After seeing this episode, I'm convinced Moffat is like the partner who's obsessed with Doctor Who's ex, Russell T. Davies. Moffat moved in to Doctor Who's house and went through all of its drawers. He found all of Doctor Who's pictures with RTD, blacked out RTD's face, and pasted his own over it. When Moffat and Doctor Who are together, he's constantly asking Doctor Who, "I'm better than him, right? Right? I'm the best you've ever had? Right? He's nothing compared to me!"

     

    This sums up SM so much! He has his own agenda when it comes to this show. It smacks of arrogance and he is so smug about it all. Ugh. Id hate to be around him I think. 

     

    While RTD was show runner a lot of people gave him flack for his writing style but Id give anything to have him back at the helm of the show.

    S08.E10: In The Forest Of The Night

    Someone above mentioned that there are people in the world who would jump at the chance to go in the TARDIS while equally there are people who wouldn't.

    I initially didn't believe that the later people existed but when I equated it to something else, I can believe it. I thought about the Stargate on the stargate franchise. Trusting an alien device to safely transport you to another world and having faith that it works every time you step through it is something a lot of people would not have.

    I think the tardis can be the same. Sure there is a wonderful universe out there. But it's never safe nor guaranteed. So while I thought people not wanting a trip in the tardis were foolish, maybe it isn't so much.
