  1. Wow,even after seeing so many "Happy" videos, including my fave that my sister did as principal of her school, each one brings me to happiness tears. I wonder which of those people may have shown up at the Atlanta reunion or did Porshas paperwork, lol.
  2. I am guessing/hoping they at least split the utilities. I think he would be a fool to pay utilities for Kandi and Riley and have no rights to the house. I understand about protecting her assets but I don't think her chatting it up heavy with Bethenny and Ramona is the best way to go starting off a marriage. I don't know much about prenups but I wonder if some of the harsh clauses like "no money upon spouses death" is just standard pre negotiation exchange between lawyers before the final document is settled upon. After watching way too many crime shows about spouses killing for money, I can see instances where a lawyer would add this dealing with a client with lots of money.
  3. I think Kandis point was that her lawyer was working on drafts of the agreement, which is very common, for Todd to look at. And her lawyer ultimately encouraged Todd to get a lawyer to look at the drafts.
  4. Based on the WWHL interview with Kandi there seems to be lots of fallout after the cast have seen the previous episodes. Kandi is not speaking to Joyce right now. Sharon is livid. Kandi realizes Todd wasn't telling his lawyer he was getting half the profits of the play. She seemed so excited to have more kids but her response to Andy is "we are not trying but not preventing" Hmmm. (The prenup may seem like a breeze if she is ever faced with joint custody and child support). She says Todd was the one who did not get a lawyer until a couple of days before the wedding
  5. That was a lol moment for me because when I saw the picture the first episode I was thinking to myself....Todd's dad looked like Superfly. I think some of this is amped up for the cameras but I don't think the MJ hate is. I just cannot see how this is a storyline they would pick to bring in ratings. I would much rather see Sharon and Joyce out and about sipping on brandy and talking about how they are going to spend their last 20 years.
  6. I agree that Kandi should have hired a wedding planner on such short notice. I don't think that because her assistants can handle her info flow, make appointments, schedule meetings, hold auditions, get props (or whatever I imagine an assistant for Kandi would do on a regular basis) that the person should also be able to plan a wedding, such a personal event. There are many I have seen no matter the IQ who cannot transfer skills from a particular field or project to another concept. Likewise, I don't think Kandi's employment relationship with Carmon and the other guy is necessarily one-sided. For instance, my sister moved to a higher position and rehired her old assistant simply because she trusts her confidentiality with her phone calls, meetings, and reading her emails. Anything else is icing on the cake for her! Kandi benefits from certain arrangements as well, which is why she showed how upset she was when Carmon stopped talking to her because of something Todd said.
  7. SpringTulips from TWoP. It took me what, a couple of days here, to get used to the formatting and I have to say I think now I prefer it. It is much easier to navigate the discussions. I have to chime in how alarmed I was in the final moments of TWoP with the Howard pile on. I feel like I never posted enough for the moderating to be a big issue. I did not predict the thread ending that way. *snip*
  8. I haven't seen much information on this case. I did not know that Phaedra's attorney withdrew. It would make sense if the attorney quit because most lawyers like for their clients to be deposed to avoid being embarrassed with surprises later on. The court could come down hard on her for refusing to be deposed. She seems more and more shady.
  9. I thought Todd came across as an asshole. First he is telling Kandi about his minimal financial contribution to the wedding. Next he is scolding her friend employees about having no excuses because money is not an issue (I guess since Kandi is paying). He was even out of line with the dog and the fetching the football thing. Kandi has to already see he is speaking for her when he shouldn't. Doesn't look good.
