Is it possible to be informed by the mod if one of your posts is removed, and why?

Mods aren't required to notify users if a post that violates site policy is removed. To do so wouldn't be a good use of - already limited - resources when you consider the sheer volume of forums/users/posts. Some may do so at their own discretion but if not, you are free to PM them to ask the reason.

Thanks for the response.  The problem for a poster is then having to remember what was posted and why it might have been problematical.  Anyway, thanks again.

Mods can access removed posts and will be able to let you know the reason.
