In this funny and provocative series, rapper and activist Killer Mike puts his revolutionary ideas about achieving social change into action.

I am loving this show so, so much. The first episode was a perfect commentary on what gentrification has done to America. I recently read about there having been a thriving part of town here in my city that had hundreds of black businesses, homes and churches. In the 1950s and '60s, federal lawmakers allowed commercial interests to came in and break the community apart (and others like it all over the U.S.) under the guise of "urban renewal" ("restoring" run-down buildings). Residents were displaced because tenements were torn down, and the communities were obliterated. I'm sure I don't have to tell you it was racially motivated. The practice of displacing residents of affordable housing--who tend to be minorities--continues unchecked today, and it's absolutely atrocious.

Every episode has been fantastic, and I am trying not to binge watch because I don't want the series to be over!
