Its a bit hard to talk about this movie without revealing some spoilers, but its been out voer almost 2 years, so I don't think I should have to spoiler tag.

 

I just saw this last night, and a bit surprised I couldn't find a thread for it.  Not a bad movie.  Its not everyday you see a movie about a realtively decent billionaire who actually does something right and is the good guy.  Course, I had to wonder just how rich he was if he could set up enough of an account to support him self for life in a new life, while still having a big enough estate that no one questioned, 'hey what happened to that other 50 million dollars?'  and I never quite saw what was in that metal box.

I had to wonder what exactly the process entailed.   I guess they kept the bodies alive, but somehow unconscious or paralyzed?  Then moved the personality over?  But obviously some muscle memory remained.

And while Mark 'volunteered' for the process, its not clear that was the same for all of Anton's bodies (they have some spares in storage?) or the boy (ew and sad).  I had to wonder about the couple, I mean if the body is going to be different (so no genes to pass down) and the child is young enough that most of his personality hadn't really developed yet, why not just adopt a young boy?  I know not quite the same, but still.
