I like when he goes out to the middle of nowhere and drinks with a barfly.  This one kinda reminds me of when he went to New Mexico.  I think it funny how well he dines, but he can still chow down on nice fattening everyday food.

Heh, I totally agree with Bourdain about EDM (and I say this as someone who used to work in a club). It's a lot of flashing lights and douchebags.

I really enjoyed the segment at the bar with the retro singer. It's always nice to see something in Vegas that isn't just gambling, hookers, or partying. I liked the low key vibe.

As someone who recently learned that EDM was big in the US (not American) especially among Asian-Americans, I'm a bit perplexed on why. What's the appeal? I mean, I like to go to a club once in awhile, but why is so hot right now?

I have never had any desire to go to Las Vegas and this show just confirmed it more or less. I do admit the swanky restaurants looked nice and so did that Thai place. It was also nice to know that at least someone is trying to preserve the water there.
