At least their mini-teaser-episodes are just as boring as the show...

I missed several of the FtWD shorts because by the time I would realize that one of them wasn't a commercial it would be over.

The several shorts that I did see were interesting enough for me to wish the show would follow the stories of some of those characters instead of still following Maddy and that whole crew.

I haven't seen any of these (yet, at least - I know last season's TWD-commercial-breaks-FTWD-shorts was the airplane stuff), but it brings to mind a complaint I had about season 1 of this show... not showing enough differing viewpoints of a world devolving in the face of a zombie apocalypse, especially in a place like LA.  Instead, all we got was everything viewed through the eyes of a small, but very, dysfunctional family unit.

But, it is what it is.
