A couple years ago, I watched two Jonestown docs (the AmEx one and, I think, an H-channel one) within a week of each other. I know--what was I thinking? Neither of them mentioned the live-monkeys-door-to-door (so thanks for that nugget) but there you have it: yet another reason to hate the fuck out of Jim Jones. As hard as that fern was trying to steal the scene, Nimoy's 'stache wins. And not because I like it, but because it's very, very bad and wrong.
