I guess now the shorthand for Tammy is that she's a "cool girl". A cool girl with a little girl's name, but oh so sexy, she's just one of the guys, she's a sports reporter! Tetraneutron June 15, 2015 Share June 15, 2015 I think you're reading too much into Tammy. The point of the character was she couldn't be a threat to Alicia. As I recall, Will had three girlfriends and none of them were serious. They weren't as smart or accomplished as Alicia, and if they were they were corrupt. I don't think the audience is supposed to like her at all. She has to be just good enough that the audience doesn't think less of Will for being with a loser, and that's it. Besides, all the women are "one of the guys". Alicia, Diane, Kalinda. They succeed in male-dominated jobs and culture, and like to drink, and are sexy. 1 Link to comment
