HalcyonDays January 8, 2015 Share January 8, 2015 Exposure to radiation causes O'Brien to jump five hours into the future for brief periods, as Deep Space Nine hosts Romulan and Klingon delegations. Link to comment
Maverick January 9, 2015 Share January 9, 2015 AKA DS9 does TNG's Cause and Effect. As wildly inconsistent as the mechanics of time travel can be in Star Trek I still generally enjoy the time travel episodes. And as far as the annual "let's torture O'Brien" episodes go, this is the least emotionally heavy/dark of the lot. It's a wonder the Romulans don't rule the universe since as shown in Past Tense and this episode their technology is so prone to provoking unintended time travel. Link to comment
blueray February 22, 2015 Share February 22, 2015 I just watched this episode again. I like how it is kind of a light hearted episode at least for a O'Brien episode. I love that at the end the O'Brien's switch because that added an interesting twist at the end. And I like how they had the O'Briens comment on how they were confused on why the future one wasn't feeling bad when his past self was. Link to comment
