legaleagle53 October 7, 2014 Share October 7, 2014 This episode is a good one for those who complain that our American legal system is too "soft" on criminals because the burden of proof is on the State to show guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. How would you like to be tried on Cardassia, where the verdict of guilt is announced before the trial even begins, and the burden is on YOU to rebut the presumption that the verdict is correct? 2 Link to comment
Meushell November 22, 2014 Share November 22, 2014 I'm not really a fan of the torture O'Brien episodes. Odo is the best part of the episode. The Cardassian lawyer is amusing in a pathetic sort of way. It's nice to see O'Brien and Keiko starting vacation together. The twist was good, and I kind of enjoy Bashir in a dark sickbay with a Maquis. The episode is boring on rewatch. I admit, I skipped over most of it. Since I started the rewatch, this is the first time I skipped. Link to comment
