One of the best episodes from season 1 was when Alec had to go to court and go up against Malcolm Jamal Warner as another kind of consultant. Too much focus on the assistants. And too many cases that warranted FBI involvement and the ex-wife, she should have been recurring, if at all. Rose episodes were generally good, but the show just never could decide what it wanted to be.
