S01.E04: Controlled Burn

Recommended Posts

It’s obvious at this point that Keith is doing everything he can to worm his way back into Melissa and Hazel’s life. The question is WHY?

Shane is an interesting (fictional) character. Unlike Melissa, he avoids thinking and talking about their dad’s crimes. But both of them obviously struggle with guilt and shame — they have been blaming themselves for not doing more to stop the killings.

Shane getting intertwined with Keith’s girlfriend, Gillian is unsettling. There’s nothing healthy about women who throw themselves at serial killers.

While Hazel is taking advantage of being the Happy Face Killer’s grandchildren, Max doesn’t ask to be labeled as “bad blood”. And his mother isn’t around to help him navigate this because she’s busy to right a wrong. Poor Max. 💔
