Snazzy Daisy March 23 Author Share March 23 The James/Grace one night stand is not even addressed except for one quick glance of James looking like he regrets it. Claire (Callum’s assistant) being in Quinn’s pocket is so predictable. We know it’s either her or Julia the editor. They mention her money problem before. It doesn’t make much sense for an old-money guy like Quinn to target someone at the bottom of the food chain. I hope James will get ALL his money back. Sophie and her con ass can steal money from daddy Huntley next. 🙄 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152456-s02e05-daybreak/#findComment-8614389
AstridM March 23 Share March 23 I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t really like James, lol. Go home! 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152456-s02e05-daybreak/#findComment-8614507
Girl in a Cardigan March 28 Share March 28 LOL, I literally got so caught up in the Severance finale that I forgot to watch this. It was only when I was ready to watch the next one I remembered that I hadn't seen this. Tess/Sophie is so hot and cold, it's ridiculous. James needs her help and she can't stop herself from being so bitchy, even though SHE'S THE ONE WHO STOLE THE MONEY AND RAN, FAKING HER DEATH. I don't really understand where she gets off, acting like the aggrieved party here. I'm glad James is sticking around and I hope he robs her blind. Seems Daddy Huntley did kill the girl and Quinn knew he did and that's why he's been on a bender. Lovely. Again, I love Phil Dunster but they are giving him NOTHING to do here and it's so boring. Also the entire car ride between him and the fiancee when he's telling her about call girl's death, all I could think about was the driver. Obviously, Quinn doesn't even see/think about them, but in this little cone of secrecy that you've added your betrothed to, that guy's also part of it (maybe they were already, who knows). So it seems Sophie IS her real name? And even though she made James take her to the council housing block where she used to live (that she doesn't remember - but clearly came to before) and stood in front of her old apartment, she's pissed that James is asking the leading questions that she can't ask because for some reason she can't/won't tell anyone about the amnesia that she apparently still has? What a lovely girl. Can't believe they didn't let us see the reveal when Daddy Huntley tells Eliza that her first girlfriend was actually her half-sister and no one told her until now. The first season was so suspenseful as to whether Sophie was in danger, if her husband and BFF were in on it, if she could trust the cop, and this is such a nothingburger. Half way through (or more? How many episodes?) and we still don't know anything more than we did when it started. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152456-s02e05-daybreak/#findComment-8619176
