Girl in a Cardigan March 17 Share March 17 Finally caught up on this and it's both intriguing and annoying LOL. Love having James and Quinn together. They are much more intriguing than the Eliza/Tess of a it all. I still don't quite get what's eating Quinn. He wanted the story killed, not the girl, but even though everyone is saying that he didn't have her killed, he's still freaking out. Did he go there and do it himself before we started with this storyline or what? I'm sad we didn't get to see the full James Ellis as that has been missing from this season so far, but I guess as long as Quinn's fiancee gets some revenge on him while he's passed out? Or was that Quinn's plan all along? Does he know who James really is? So after a lot of talking around nothing in the woods (no one is going to mention the whole ass CAR just sitting there for 20 years or whatever), we get the perhaps reveal that Tess is a Huntley after all? And her fling with Eliza was kinda incest? That's fun for the whole family! Is that why she ran away? Four episodes in and we're finally getting somewhere, but if it weren't for Phil, I would have stopped watching ages ago. And truly, when my free trial of AppleTV+ runs out in a couple of weeks, I may just let it and never know how this ends. We'll see. Snazzy Daisy March 17 Author Share March 17 This episode drops 2 major bombshells. FIRST — Sophie/Tess is a Huntley. She’s a part of the “monster” that she’s trying to expose. Is it predictable? Yes. But it also adds another layer to her emotional journey of self-discovery. Frustratingly, there’s no change in the situation between Eliza and Tess. They’re still in the love/hate limbo and Tess doesn’t even offer Eliza an apology for what she did. Eliza having a crush on her “sister” is kinda ewww! Eliza may think their bond was/is an attraction when it’s more familial. She doesn’t know it yet. Re the coordinates of a location in the Huntley’s estate, Sophie finds a wrecked car. We don’t know whether Emma was involved in some kind of accident or not. Sophie also finds her mom’s photo in the Huntleys’ darkroom. Sophie is caught staring at this painting at the Huntley House. Anything significant? 👀 SECOND — we are only halfway through S02 but Surface has already orchestrated the downfall of Quinn Huntley and ruined Grace’s character along the way. The impromptu hookup adds nothing to James and Grace’s character development. It isn’t juicy at all as it’s unconvincing and contrived. It will only bring more tensions and messiness. I wonder what’s the reason for James wanting to meet Quinn in the first place. And will we be seeing a new villain in Henry? Callum is wasted in this episode, just leaking his unpublished story to a tabloid. But at least we know that his editor is on Huntleys’ payroll. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152354-s02e04-legacy/#findComment-8609565
