Girl in a Cardigan February 28 Share February 28 Just when I was out - they reel me back in with the husband mic drop appearance at the party! How did he get in? Who does he know? Was he really part of it in season 1 or is he just here for revenge?? Either way, let's gooo! Very curious who Quinn is texting, since he's now taunting them with Callum's arrest. The easy target is the researcher, but since she seems genuinely distraught by the call girl's death, I'm guessing no. Someone higher at the paper? Curious. (Also Phil Dunster is very pretty and I love him, but he does NOT do intimidating very well. I was totally expecting Callum to laugh him off at the club when Quinn got in his face.) Still have no idea what Tess's game is. She seemed so confident cleaning out the accounts and jumping on a plane to the UK, but now she's just wearing weird feather dresses and lying about boarding school. And does she actually remember anything from her pre-Sophie life or is she just faking it now? 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152020-s02e02-speak-of-the-devil/#findComment-8593584
Snazzy Daisy February 28 Author Share February 28 The expected return of James Ellis. It’s time to get her con ass, man. One question though — is he real or is Sophie seeing things again? Is Callum about to lose his job? It seems like Quinn is texting his boss. Sophie/Tess needs Callum more than he needs her. He has resources and informants, she has money and connections to the Huntleys’ inner circle. It seems like for generations, the Huntleys aren’t afraid of taking unlawful measures to protect themselves. William Huntley paid Dr. Matthew Lewis (his personal doctor for 30 years) to rule out Emma Antoine-Day’s death as unsuspicious. Her COD was declared as “unclassified” and no autopsy was performed. Obviously William played a part in covering-up Emma’s mysterious death. Did Henry have anything to do with her death? 🤔 Claire couldn’t find much about Emma through records search — only a student visa, a degree from Oxford University and a death certificate. Did the Huntleys wipe everything out or did Emma have secrets of her own? Looking forward to know more about the spot in the forest area within the Huntleys’ estate. Sophie/Tess will definitely be paying Anne a visit soon. This episode is sooooo slow, I can’t take it. The engagement party scenes are drawn out and Sophie’s performance as Tess is really unconvincing. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152020-s02e02-speak-of-the-devil/#findComment-8594137
