Tess Caldwell aka Sophie Ellis is still maintaining her lifestyle, living off the bitcoins she stole from James. The passive amnesiac Sophie has transformed into a more confident and calculated Tess. There are 2 mysteries to be explored this season — who is Tess/Sophie and who killed her mother? I guess we will be seeing a lot of Callum the investigative journalist and Quinn the shady Huntley. There’s a high possibility that Eliza and Grace will be underused. Hopefully we will see James soon. Based on the meandering season 1, I honestly don’t expect much from Surface season 2.
