Season 7 Episode 5; scene(s) missing?

Hi, new to this site. My wife and I have been re-watching from the beginning; I remember "Exposed To The Light" as featuring the detectives being sure the murderer was the naked lady in the film, then Jean Marlow seeing the film and wistfully telling them that she was proud of the pictures. They then realise their mistake. That didn't feature at all this time around. Am I imagining that?

Not sure exactly how that scene played so I can't answer your specific question, but I do know they shave off scenes in New Tricks. On my dvd there is a scence in one of the episodes of Esther getting an immigrant to build a corner cupboard and Brian being suspicious. All the scenes that have to do with the cupboard or the immigrant have been cut when I stream it on Britbox or Acorn (whichever it's on, I don't remember)

I just watched the whole episode on Acorn. Mrs. Marlowe is in two scenes - one where Mike calls her & she verifies she was the body double for Charlotte and was, indeed, quite proud of her scenes. Then she goes & jumps off a cliff - I think she was hang-gliding.

After the murder is solved and they're clearing the white board & discussing whether Lyall or Oliver is Ben's bio-dad, there's a final scene in the theater where they're showing the "restored" version of "Wind from the South" - nude scene intact.  When Charlotte's dressing again at the end of the waterfall/skinny dip scene, Chalmers says "That's it?" and Mrs. Marlowe says, "They were simpler times." The film displays "The End" which is also the end of the episode and the credits roll.

At no time was the body double a suspect, although quite a few other people were.
