DanaK September 22 Share September 22 Rachel's production company now has its first documentary movie out "From Russia with Lev" (which was shown in theaters and premiered on MSNBC last Friday night), about Lev Parnas, the Ukrainian who with Rudy Giuliani, meddled in Ukraine and tried to get dirt on President Biden and his family. Former President Trump earned his first impeachment for that little adventure, which included trying to press the Ukrainian president to find dirt on Biden in order to get some US stuff (missiles or something). I'm not sure if Rachel plans to only produce documentaries with her company So what did folks think of "From Russia with Lev"? 5 Link to comment
alias1 September 22 Share September 22 Wow. There was a lot of corruption in that scheme. It seems like only the low level people ever pay for their crimes. It never gets to the real perpetrators. Lev is a very complex character. I was amazed at how even keeled Svetlana seemed through the whole thing. It was interesting making her the narrator. I thought it was very well done. I also enjoyed the Lev/Svetlana interview afterwards with Ali Velshi. 4 Link to comment
BuckeyeLou September 22 Share September 22 I thought the documentary was fascinating. Lev is quite a "character" but he seemed truly remorseful and he had all the 'receipts". It was awful to see how many Republicans knew all about this corruption going on & yet all claimed they didnt know who Lev was! The ending was emotional when he met Hunter Biden and apologized. 5 Link to comment
