MaryMitch August 11, 2024 Share August 11, 2024 (edited) Watching the men's bronze medal game (Hungary v US): right now it's tied at 6, close game, and the announcer just mentioned that one of the players is getting married at the end of the month. I have NEVER heard anything like that in a men's game - it really threw me! Then he mentioned his fiance was in the stands watching and called her "the future Mrs (man's last name)" and I thought "why would he assume she's taking his name?"
