‘Tell Me Lies’: Tom Ellis Joins Season 2 Of Hulu Series

Tom Ellis joins Tell Me Lies Season 2 as Oliver, a professor at Baird College whose "tough love" attitude makes him an intimidating presence that isn’t appreciated by all students. He is married to Lucy’s professor Marianne (Gabriella Pession), but as one of the main characters begins seeking his approval, his influence will have chaotic repercussions.

Smart move. He was heavily promoting the show in the first season. Although having an actor who actually has the skill to make a toxic narcissist appealing will make the problems with Stephen even more glaring. 

All I really remember about the first season is how insufferable the lead characters are.

‘Tell Me Lies’ Casts ‘Gossip Girl’s Thomas Doherty In Recurring Role

Thomas Doherty as Leo, a junior at Baird who returns to campus after studying abroad for a year and finds himself immediately drawn to Lucy. He seems as kind as he is charming, but Lucy isn’t sure whether she can fully trust him. Leo will eventually become entangled in the web created by Lucy and Stephen’s toxic relationship.

Jacob Rodriguez as Chris, the good-looking brother of Lydia, who is excited about attending Baird. He’s friendly, good-natured and takes an interest in Pippa.

Katherine Hughes as Molly, a confident, upfront friend of Diana, who takes an interest in one of the lead boys.

Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco return to college, not on speaking terms following their dramatic breakup at the beginning of the summer. While very much at odds, they find themselves in a new addictive dynamic as Stephen becomes a teaching assistant in one of Lucy’s classes. Infuriating as it is inescapable, the two can’t seem to escape one another.
