[GREMLINS] Submit Reply button showing after post successfully submitted

What happened:

1. I posted here, which, at that time, was at the bottom of page 6 of that thread.
2. I walked away (from my Windows 11 Chrome browser) for a few minutes and came back to check for typos etc. and saw the green Submit Reply button was still showing, so made a few edits and hit Submit Reply more than once, but the button remained showing. 
3. Eventually I refreshed the page and saw that my original post now appeared on the next page (page 7) with 2 posts by others above it,
   and now my edited post appeared as a double post below the original here,
   and the contents of the second, edited post was doubled within it.
4. I then edited my duplicate post to say "board having technical difficulties; reported."
   Sorry if that last edit complicates resolving the issue. I could make it look similar to the pre-edited version if that would help.

Apologies for the delayed response, it's been hectic recently. Sounds like a glitch, was this a one-off or have you experienced it again?
