I stayed at the TWA once. You can watch planes take off and land from your room. I swam in a pool on the roof during a blizzard. Nice and cozy in the pool but getting out was a test in courage. It's a wild place, and I know exactly where they were standing. It really does have a creepy feel, but it's a little more The Shining than 2001: ASO. It's pretty shabby and rundown, though, and can be sketchy at night. Anyone in NYC with the price of a subway fare can get in and they often do. Groups of kids had the run of the place overnight while I was there. I never saw any signs of security. This was a few years ago, so maybe that has changed. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/138285-s05e01-go-forward/page/2/#findComment-7982357
Red Fields May 5, 2023 Share May 5, 2023 I’ve never heard of it! I’m tempted to drop by the next time I go past the airport! Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/138285-s05e01-go-forward/page/2/#findComment-7987670
