Where to purchase thread for eyebrows?

I think threading is wonderful for precise eyebrow grooming, as well as a gentler form of removing other hair from the root. Is there anywhere I can get professional thread? I've purchased several from Amazon before, and none of them worked! I friend of mine who's foreign gave me thread she got from her country before, and I was able to use it.
