Leopard Skin is a Drama TV Series streaming on Peacock on November 17, 2022 with all eight half-hour episodes being released at the same time.     

A criminal gang fleeing a botched jewelry heist is forced to hide out in a glamourous beachside estate in Playa Perdida, Mexico. The owners, two women who live in seclusion, Alba and Batty, just happen to be throwing a dinner party at the time. The guests include Max, a TV documentary producer and Maru, his flighty girlfriend. Also in attendance is Inocencia, Alba’s former housekeeper. The criminal gang proceeds to hold the household hostage. Full of murderous secrets, coldhearted betrayals, and shocking desires, their world turns into a tension filled hothouse of secrets, betrayal and desire - all of which will bubble to the surface as everyone awaits their fate.

I watched this because of Carla Cugino and went into knowing nothing other than it had something to do with thieves taking hostages. It was way different than what I was expecting. It was much more about the relationships between the characters than the action. And like so many recent shows, it was not a straight timeline. I was surprised at the amount of explicit sex, I didn't think Peacock would go there - it was much more like an HBO or Showtime show in that regard. There is a total of 8 episodes, but they are only a half an hour each - easy to watch in one long evening. Overall I liked it and the acting was good.
