Meredith Quill August 30, 2014 Share August 30, 2014 OotLander. I call my 3 year old 'mouse' a lot...but I use the Scottish pronunciation haha so it's sounds like "moose", I say it so often, people must think I'm potty when we're out & about (or is that oot & aboot?). Anyhoo, the 'moose' comes from the oft repeated phrase here in the UK, whilst talking in a Scots accent of, "there's a moose loose aboot this hoose"...don't ask me why that is, for I know not. :p LOL. 2 Link to comment
