I love that Wednesday's first crush is name Robespierre. Of course it would be. Given her favorite doll is a headless Marie Antoniette and she has a gullotine. Unfortunately, it doesn't work out because he's not into gullotines and other things she likes. I do feel bad for him. Why would you name your son Robespierre if you weren't diehard fans of the French Revolution? Also he should start going by Robby or Petey.

It would be a really weird thing to name a kid even it they were fans of the French Revolution. Robespierre had a hideous death. They shot him in the jaw and dragged him to the guillotine with his shattered jaw tied to his face with a rag.

If Wednesday's fave doll was Marie Antoinette and her crush was called Robespierre (who helped sentence the doll's namesake to the guillotine), it's not surprising that the crush wouldn't have liked the instrument that hastened his namesake's end! I wonder if Wednesday would have had better luck with someone named Louis or Gilbert (as in Lafayette)?

Oh, one interesting thing about the Gomez-Morticia wedding flashback was how 'Grandmama ' Eudora Addams was not only  THE 'Mrs. Addams' but also had totally dominated  the allergy-burdened Gomez prior to the wedding. Yet, Morticia soon not only became THE lady of the house but also Gomez became much healthier yet still gave his mother respect but didn't let her dominate him afterwards. Oh, and 'Grandmama' didn't seem to have rebelled at the new order but seemed content having  a new place in the expanded family.

Also, it was interesting how they invited Uncle Fester to live with them full time despite him having initially OPPOSED their union. Gomez even went so far as to tell him 'you ARE an Addams' despite Fester technically being Morticia's uncle.

BTW, Cousin Itt was their cousin on both sides of the family!
