I'm amused hearing commentator Erin Hamlin describe the lugers' mishaps as "such a bummer." She sounds totally sincere in her sympathy, but it's such a lowkey thing to say as they're slamming into walls and flipping over.

There were a lot more crashes than I was expecting. I loved the track helpers who hopped over the wall to help the athletes (lugers?) who had crashed. They seemed so eager to help them off the track even though most of the athletes were kind of dazed from flipping over and sailing down the track on their backs or fronts.
