I know someone who is very much like this lady with the constant moaning in pain and freaking out with anxiety.  Except the lady I know isn’t overweight and has no lymphedema.  She still constantly talks of being in pain and how her heart is racing a lot.  I wonder why she isn’t on an anti anxiety med.  I don’t doubt the mass is painful.

My aunt does that constantly.  She doesn't necessarily moan in pain, but she moans while she does things.  She convinces herself that everything is more difficult than it is. Driving her someplace would make you want to scream.  She clutched her tiny dog (which is preferable to when she would grab the dashboard), sometimes screams about cars she is worried will come into the street about even if they are at a full stop at a red light on a cross street.   Her doctor suggested anti-anxiety meds and she won't take them.  She is convinced it is all due to chronic fatigue.

Her doctor had her start checking her blood pressure.  I will give my aunt credit in that she realized that checking it was increasing her anxiety so we agreed she will only check once a week and I will look at the number.

I think we may be talking about the same person!  Does she live in NC?  Lol.
