Then one day he disappears without a trace. As his wife (Betty Gabriel) and sister (Zoe Kazan) start looking for him, a livestream shows up of of a badly beaten Nick holding a sign that says, "I abuse women. At 5 million hits, I die." Is this a threat or a confession? Or both? Are the allegations true? Do they prove the seemingly perfect family man has something to hide? Or is this part of a twisted game by the kidnapper to illustrate the dangers of social media where society is quick to judge every media sensation? As the view count quickly surges, panic sets in. Another video is released and things intensify even more. Even Nick's loved ones are left wondering if Nick really is the kind, loving man they believed him to be. There are multiple sides to a story so you get to see Nick's life from several different points-of-view.
