AimingforYoko August 1, 2021 Share August 1, 2021 Quote A father travels from Oklahoma to France to help his estranged daughter, who is in prison for a murder she claims she didn't commit. I was expecting a blue-collar Taken. You know, a stereotypical ugly American charging around Marseilles demanding answers. And we did get that...for a bit. Then we get something a bit more thoughtful for most of the second half of the movie before the bittersweet climax. Definitely a showcase for Damon, but some real good performances from Camille Cottin as the native who helps him out and from Lilou Siauvaud as her daughter. Abigail Breslin is in the movie only in spurts but she shines in her scenes, as well. Link to comment
