Things I thought were weird is Kate Wetherall always shouts whatever she says, you would think the kids would try to whisper more, especially since Jackson could hear the girls from out in the hallway, with the door closed.

It is strange that the top bunk beds do not have any railings, I guess all of the students are "too smart" to fall out of the beds to their deaths.

I like that the tower doesn't have any doors and can only be accessed from under the water, but how do the "Messengers" get in to do their duties. A secret submarine ride would seem incredibly suspicious and inefficient.
