AnimeMania June 13, 2020 Author Share June 13, 2020 It seems like they had a pretty good outline of a plot, but didn't really fill in or polish each episode. They broke the 4th wall, but I don't think most of the jokes were worth it. I did like the horses though. Spoiler Why were Slone and Patrick in bed together in one flashback, if Patrick has never seen Slone naked. Link to comment
SmithW6079 June 17, 2020 Share June 17, 2020 This came up on my Hulu recommends, so I binged the series over the weekend. It was cute, but I think at least some of the humor comes from what are basically children's toys swearing, kind of like if it was Emmet from "The LEGO Movie" or Woody and Buzz from "Toy Story" swearing. I like that they ended up having a unifying story line with the assassin. Princess Blossom sounded a lot like Tammy from "Bob's Burgers"; I wonder if it was the same actress. Link to comment
AnimeMania June 17, 2020 Author Share June 17, 2020 Yes, it did seem like they were trying to make sure you didn't think this was a show for kids with all the swearing, sex and full-frontal nudity. It would have been better if they did this with clever writing and humor, otherwise it was just a kid's show with adult themes. 1 Link to comment

Well, it was from the same guys who make "Robot Chicken," so I guess that was to be expected. Link to comment
